Nutrition Library

In today’s world, the average American diet is flooded with ultra-processed foods. The CDC admits that over 60% of U.S. calories come from these products. Given how harmful they are to metabolic, neurological, and immune health, 30% would be enough to warrant a serious crisis

To make matters worse, the official USDA Dietary Guidelines—the same ones still shaping school lunches and hospital meals—continue to promote outdated, often harmful advice. People are trying to do the right thing, but they’re working with broken tools.

The results speak for themselves. Chronic illness is now the norm, with some estimates suggesting 1 in 2 Americans live with at least one. Cancer rates are climbing. But there’s hope: the rising MAHA movement is reigniting interest in real food, prevention, and nutrition as the foundation of long-term health.

And while MAHA may be gaining momentum—we’ve been laying the groundwork for years.

Enter the IMA Nutrition Library. Born out of necessity during the COVID crisis and expanded with purpose, we’ve built a growing nutrition library: a living, growing resource hub for food-based healing, disease prevention, and everyday nourishment. If you’re overwhelmed, confused, or just looking for real answers—start here.

1. Eat Well Guide to Fasting and Healthy Eating

This was our first deep-dive into nutrition—created at a moment when the world needed answers.

Originally developed to support those suffering from long COVID or vaccine injury, the Eat Well Guide focuses on triggering autophagy, the body’s natural cleanup system, through intermittent fasting and nutritional intervention.

We soon realized that this wasn’t just for COVID recovery—it was a gateway to reduced disease burden, slower aging, better brain health, stronger metabolism, and cancer prevention.

2. Guide to Nutritional Therapeutics and COVID-19

This resource pairs with our treatment protocols and focuses on all-natural, food-based strategies to support recovery from illness—especially viral infections.

It includes evidence-based nutrient therapies like quercetin, NAC, curcumin, vitamin D, and others, chosen for their ability to reduce inflammation, support immune function, and accelerate recovery.

3. From A to Zinc: IMA Nutrient Guide

This foundational guide remains one of our most-used tools. At 37 pages, this massive, research-driven resource walks through the most critical vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients, including:

  • What they do
  • Signs of deficiency
  • Food sources and supplementation guidance

Authored by Dr. Kristina Carman, From A to Zinc was the launchpad for our Tools & Guides section and continues to be one of the most valuable and referenced resources on our site.
