He does say one who is treating cancer should avoid NAC and explains why. Dr. Paul Marik adds his thoughts on the use of Vitamin C, and its oxidative effects, as it relates to use during cancer treatment. Both doctors agree that many other supplements like Vitamin D, turmeric, etc are good to take while undergoing treatment for cancer.
