Dr. Hector Carvallo, PhD, is a distinguished endocrinologist from Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a notable career in both academia and clinical practice. He is a retired professor from the University of Buenos Aires and the former director of one of the city’s largest hospitals. Dr. Carvallo has made significant contributions to the field of infectious diseases, particularly through his pioneering work in the first human trials of ivermectin for the prevention of COVID-19.
