Doctors from the Independent Medical Alliance explain why mRNA shots pose risks to kids and pregnant women—and why it’s time to say no.

Every parent wants to make the right choice — especially when it comes to protecting their child’s health. But when it comes to mRNA COVID-19 shots, many are still left with questions: Is this really necessary? Is it safe? Was this fully studied in kids or pregnant women?
At the Independent Medical Alliance, we’ve heard these questions too — from parents, patients, and physicians alike. That’s why our fellowship of doctors, many of whom worked on the frontlines of the pandemic, are speaking out.
These aren’t fringe voices. They’re board-certified pediatricians, OB/GYNs, family doctors, immunologists, and ICU specialists — many with decades of experience. In these short video messages, you’ll hear them explain in their own words why they’re calling for an end to mRNA shots for children and pregnant women — and urging a return to medical transparency and informed consent.
Want to take a stand for informed consent and medical transparency? Here are four quick ways to get involved, speak out, and protect our most vulnerable:
Dr. Kat Lindley — Family Physician
Dr. Lindley explains why the threshold for safety must be higher when it comes to children and pregnant women — and why current recommendations simply don’t meet that standard.
“Every consideration is a risk benefit assessment. Any treatment in pregnancy or for babies and children is a huge risk… there is no justifiable reason to recommend these products in any healthy humans.”
Drs. Kim and Kirk Milhoan — Pediatric Anesthesiology & Cardiology
Dr. Kim Milhoan and Dr. Kirk Milhoan share their thoughts on why it is so important to get rid of the mRNA shots for babies, children, and pregnant women.
“Traditionally, we have always protected mothers and children. This is a new and novel therapy. We don’t have long-term data regarding this, and there is evidence of harm… the risks are greater than the benefits.” – Dr. Kim Milhoan
Dr. Kristina Carman — Nutritional & Holistic Health
Dr. Kristina Carman is a naturopathic doctor with additional expertise in nutrition. She explains that many vulnerable groups were recommended the mRNA shots without any safety trials.
“Babies, children, and pregnant women were actually excluded from the original safety trials, and yet we’re pushing this novel gene-based technology with no long-term data on fertility, on immune development, and on the chronic disease risk. I truly believe it’s reckless, it’s not protective, and we must stop normalizing this as healthcare.” – Dr. Kristina Carman
Dr. Ryan Cole — Pathology
Dr. Cole shares the fact that the COVID-19 mRNA “vaccines” are not actually vaccines, but rather a gene therapy injection with unknown side effects.
“These are not vaccines, although they were advertised as such… There are so many risks to the younger population, especially cardiac damage…” – Dr. Ryan Cole
Dr. Clayton Baker — Internal Medicine
Dr. Baker details the fact that there is no good reason to give children an mRNA vaccine against COVID-19, especially since their survival rate is so high.
“I think they should be removed from the market immediately… I see no indication for them to be used in children whatsoever. Regarding pregnant women, it’s very much the same.” – Dr. Clayton Baker
Dr. Elizabeth Mumper — Pediatrics
In an IMA webinar titled “Smart Moms Ask: The Urgent Call to Stop the mRNA Shots,” pediatrician Dr. Liz Mumper discussed the need for parents to ask questions and for truly informed consent.
“Informed consent is the parents’ right. There should be no coercion, no bribes, no threats of any kind that are associated with informed consent for any medical procedure, including injections.” – Dr. Liz Mumper
Dr. Renata Moon — Pediatrics
Dr. Renata Moon, a pediatrician and educator, details the fact that the mRNA shots fail to measure up when considering risk vs. reward.
“The safety data simply wasn’t there. It was all risk and no benefit to give the mRNA shots to our nation’s children.” – Dr. Renata Moon
Dr. Monica Wehby — Pediatric Neurosurgery
Dr. Monica Wehby provides another reason to avoid the mRNA shots: we don’t know when the mRNA instructions leave the body after injection.
“We have no control over what happens after they are injected. There is no off switch. The mRNA doesn’t break down like normal mRNA, and the cell continues to make spike protein indefinitely.” – Dr. Monica Wehby
Dr. Molly Rutherford — Family Medicine
Dr. Molly Rutherford, a family medicine and addiction specialist, talks about how the FDA previously handled dangerous drugs with poor safety data.
“The damage is catastrophic. In the past, when we saw these types of signals, the FDA would pull the dangerous vaccine off the market.” – Dr. Molly Rutherford
Dr. Kim Biss — Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. Kim Biss talks about how maternity doctors were always taught to avoid new interventions when dealing with pregnant women.
“I never thought these [mRNA COVID-19 shots] would be offered to pregnant women, given that none were enrolled in the Pfizer trials, and we were always taught to never provide a brand new medical intervention to pregnant women, as long-term data is always necessary for both mom and baby.” – Dr. Kim Biss
Dr. Katherine Welch — Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. Katherine Welch raises a very important point. Even in the height of the pandemic, the risk COVID-19 posed to children was always low.
“For kids, it was all risk and no benefit for these [mRNA COVID-19] shots.” – Dr. Katherine Welch
