Dr. Scott Mitchell, Senior Fellow, Emergency and Integrative Medicine

Dr. Scott Mitchell, MBChB, MRCS, is a distinguished physician specializing in Emergency and Integrative Medicine from the UK. Born on November 1, 1978, Dr. Mitchell completed his medical degree at the University of Aberdeen in 2001, graduating with a distinction in epidemiology. He furthered his medical education by becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2006.

Dr. Mitchell has an extensive background in emergency medicine, with over 15 years of experience. His career began as a Pre-registration House Officer at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, followed by roles as a Senior House Officer and Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine at various hospitals, including Wrexham Maelor Hospital and Countess of Chester Hospital. From 2016 to 2021, he served as an Associate Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey. Since 2022, Dr. Mitchell has been consulting for the Lyphe Group and practicing privately.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mitchell has been dedicated to continuous professional development, attending numerous conferences and training courses on emergency medicine, advanced life support, and medical cannabis. He has also contributed to the medical community through publications and presentations, including a notable systematic review and meta-analysis on the use of ivermectin for COVID-19 published in the American Journal of Therapeutics in 2021.
