Dr. Kristin Held, Senior Fellow, Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery
Dr. Kristin Held, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon specializing in direct patient care and surgical models. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Long School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has served as president of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) and has advised on healthcare policy for national political campaigns and congressional leaders. Dr. Held is the founder of Eye Surgeon Direct and co-founder of AmericanDoctors4Truth.org. She is widely published and speaks nationally on healthcare policy, medical freedom, and patient-physician relationships.
