Dr. John Fleishman, Senior Fellow, Neuro-Ophthalmology
Dr. John Fleishman, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and neuro-ophthalmologist based in Dayton, Ohio. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, he completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Michigan, where he later served as Director of Neuro-Ophthalmology. He is the co-founder and former president of the physician-owned Medical Center at Elizabeth Place, and a veteran of a seven-year Sherman Act antitrust litigation in defense of physician-led care. Post-COVID, his focus is on validating and treating patients at his private practice in Ohio who were injured during the pandemic and advancing the autonomy of independent medical practice.
