I have a friend who has been very poorly recently in hospital after having breathing difficulties. He’s home now, on steroids for the next two months, with a long recovery ahead. He has only experienced a slight improvement in his breathing. Could anyone point me to any treatment protocols that might help him. (He’s in his early 40’s and resides in the UK). Many thanks.

Hi joeh, could you expand a little, maybe on what your friend’s doctors have indicated the breathing issues may be?

    — my understanding is that steroids suppress the immune system; not good. Goal should be to get patient OFF these ASAP.

    — if the friend has symptoms of Covid 19, specially loss of taste or smell, you may consider a rather inert therapy that addresses nicotine receptors instead of ACE2 receptors. (ACE2 receptors are said to be those which the alleged SARS COV2 spike has affinity for.) Nicotine receptors also have an affinity for mRNA– but a GREATER affinity.

    — nicotine therapy that could get friend out of the dire straits is simple: buy a nicotine patch and apply.

    — For much more detailed understanding read: Dr Ardis book, available on his website or eBay.

I started hyperbaric oxygen therapy some time ago and it’s helped me greatly. Mine was not breathing; it was blood flow and cancer; both have improved. I am not a doctor!! Just for once a happy patient! I’d avoid steroids; watched my sister turn from a happy positive person to a dragon in disguise with hair-trigger temper (something they don’t mention as a side effect). Good luck to your friend.

Check out A Midwestern Doctor’s substack called The Forgotten Side of Medicine. Recent post: https://www.midwesterndoctor.com/p/what-wildfire-illness-can-teach-us COPD is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and, while your friend may not have this specific issue, there may be some really good info in this article that leads you in the right direction.

I absoltely love Mulein Leaf exteact in a nebulizer with saline solutionn. You may cough a bit but that is your way of releasing the mucous in your nose and lungs. I use at fhe first sign of any lung issue. Also thyme tea will help alot.
