Your Mouth Might Be Telling the Truth Your Doctor Missed

Most of us were taught to think of oral health as teeth, fillings, cleanings and maybe a lecture about flossing.

But this webinar goes much deeper.

Dr. Ryan Cole and Dr. Mark Cannon explain why the oral microbiome may be one of the most overlooked pieces of whole-body health. The bacteria in your mouth do not just stay in your mouth, they can affect the gut, immune system, inflammation, blood vessels, brain tissue and even chronic disease risk.

They also cover what may be damaging the oral microbiome every day: processed food, sugar, antimicrobial mouthwash, glyphosate exposure and even microplastics from some dental materials.

The best part? This is not just doom and gloom. They talk about practical steps too, diet, airway health, xylitol, probiotics and ditching harsh antimicrobial rinses that may be doing more harm than good.

Your mouth may be telling you a lot more than you thought.

Why is ClO2 so incredibly effective on oral health (either in mouthwash or toothpaste), and why aren’t more dentists promoting it?

And tangentially, why is the dental industry generally opposed to preventative dental care, as well as actively opposing ART in public health, when the data shows it is so effective?

That’s a really interesting perspective. More people are starting to recognize how closely oral health connects with overall wellness and lifestyle habits. The idea that the oral microbiome may influence different areas of health definitely deserves more attention and research. It also shows why daily nutrition, hydration, and consistent oral care habits matter beyond just teeth and gums.

You talk about oral appliances working better than cpap. I used an oral appliance for almost a year. It was great to begin with. Then I would awake with such pain in the jar I couldn’t eat. I am assuming my teeth moved with it’s use but I am unable to find more information. Do you have new information that you could direct me to? Or does anyone else have experience or thoughts on this.

    Thank you
