We’ve been taught to think of our mouth as… teeth. Cavities. Cleanings. That’s it.

But here’s the thing, your oral microbiome (the bacteria in your mouth) is now being linked to heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, immune dysfunction… even pregnancy outcomes.

So why are most of us still being told it’s just about brushing, flossing, and the occasional filling?

    Something doesn’t add up.

If your mouth is one of the main entry points to your body… and it’s full of bacteria… how is it not central to your overall health?

This week, Dr. Ryan Cole sits down with dentist Dr. Mark Cannon to dig into this properly, looking at what your oral microbiome could actually be telling you about your health.

Why is ClO2 so incredibly effective on oral health (either in mouthwash or toothpaste), and why aren’t more dentists promoting it?

And tangentially, why is the dental industry generally opposed to preventative dental care, as well as actively opposing ART in public health, when the data shows it is so effective?
