This is such an important topic.

Dr. Paul Marik makes the point that cancer surgery is not just a surgical event. It is also a biological stress event, and there may be steps patients can take around surgery to help reduce the risk of metastases.

The idea that repurposed drugs can play a role in limiting metastatic spread is something every cancer patient should at least know exists before going into surgery. I have sent this guide to a number of friends that opted for surgery.

Have you or someone you love ever been given guidance on how to prepare the body before and after cancer surgery beyond the standard hospital instructions?

Here’s something that falls under the heading of “protecting the patient.” I’ve read accounts of patients who went in for surgery and were vaccinated without their consent. I’m considering a bronchoscopy as a prelude to SBRT, and am wondering about this.
