CDC/FDA Gave the All-Clear, Why?
For this community, concerns about COVID vaccine safety surveillance are nothing new.
What makes this different is seeing the issue investigated and documented in The BMJ.
According to IMA’s summary of the investigation, CDC and FDA officials relied on a vaccine-safety data-mining method that failed to flag myocarditis, pericarditis and other potential safety signals — despite an FDA medical officer warning leadership about limitations with the method and proposing an alternative.
IMA reports that the CDC also did not begin running another promised analysis, known as PRR, until 2022. When it did, myocarditis, pericarditis, Bell’s palsy and tinnitus met the agency’s signal criteria across multiple weekly reports.
All of this happened while Pfizer and Moderna were generating tens of billions of dollars from their COVID products.
