stage 4 breast cancer query
Posted by Donna Sweeney0.0211968421936 seconds
on June 10, 2026 at 11:01 am EDTI have stage 4 breast cancer pet scan showed liver lesion 2.7 cm and lymph nodes nearby as well. The tumor on breast is 2.7 and several lymph nodes in armpit. I am 66 years old post menopause. Her2 negative, ER POSITIVE 50% PR NEGATIVE. Blood work is normal and aside from gallbladder removal in 1999 i am in excellent health. No prescription meds and no other medical concerns. I walk up to 2 miles a day or more and fast after dinner until 830am every day about 12 to 14 hours. Dr Raza at Dana Farber in Milford MA is my oncologist. I switched from UMass Southbridge recently. I refused Liver biopsy for personal reasons and dr Raza wants to do MRI. I really really would appreciate any information about the hormone therapy they are probably going to suggest. I have Medicare and limited income so seeing doctors and buying anything that Medicare plan doesn’t cover isn’t an option. I thought about ivermectin but I have no way to get it and who’s going to monitor my progress? Nobody. What options do I have? I want to let my body heal itself but realize i probably need treatment, what are my options with Dana Farber?

Hi @dee544 so sorry to hear your news. Here are a few links for you to explore as a starter. I know a number of people that have worked with integrative healthcare providers to support them using the IMA protocols
Share the free cancer hub resources with your oncologist (if they are open to it) and do take time to go through the guides, webinars and protocols yourself.
https://imahealth.org/introducing-the-ima-cancer-hub/
Follow Dr. Marik’s substack https://substack.com/@paulmarik
20 questions to ask your oncologist (doc)
A podcast that examined the IMA Cancer Protocol was “Homepathy Mommies” a great walkthrough and the guest has a process where you can get selected to have your case reviewed by a panel for free, she explains the process in the handout. (link below)
The Podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/homeopathy-for-mommies/id907988339?i=1000732441952
Here is a link to the handout that explains the process and provides links.

A book I have just finished “ THE IODINE CRISIS” talks about the link between cancer (lots on breast cancer) and Iodine, they have a support group for cancer ladies that you could join too. Its so easy to read, I listened to it on spotify …. If you pay, its free https://www.amazon.com/Iodine-Crisis-What-About-Wreck/dp/098603200X
I am sure the community may have some ‘advice’ to share, but in the meanwhile I hope these links are helpful, please keep us posted.

Hi It’s all been overwhelming. Finding answers to questions is exhausting and I end up down rabbit holes that I don’t need to be in. My oncologist wants to get a liver biopsy to figure out a treatment plan. She said she wants to start me on hormone therapy alone at this time. The liver lit up in my pet scan as well as some lymph nodes nearby. The lesion is located at the edge of the liver where my gallbladder used to be, in 1999 it was removed. All my blood work and markers are normal aside from glucose 106 which is still borderline. Do I get the biopsy or do I try the hormone therapy with metformin or berberine or both? How much time do I before the liver gets worse if the ER changed? I’m her2 negative, PR negative and ER positive 50%. This is my immediate concern should it be? Idk too much information available and I can’t sift through it all and not all pertains to my situation.
Medicare is my only way to get treatment since I am on limited income. I can afford to get some alternate meds but not consultation that cost hundreds of dollars. I have to be treated mainstream and I want to do everything I can to cure me.

Hi @dee544 I can imagine it can feel like you are drowning right now. A recent video from Dr Marik “Don’t be scared, but do your research” is up now on the IMA site https://imahealth.org/dont-be-scared-do-your-research-dr-paul-marik-on-cancer-prevention-and-treatment/
Watch that. Do you have a friend or a family member that can help you work out a plan of action?

I would like to know if anyone has an answer for this. My pet scan scout image doesn’t look like my body. It is a lot bigger with more of everything. I am 158 lbs 5’3″ I can feel my ribs and hip bones. My arms and legs are not fat and my measurements are 39-33-42. I lost 24 lbs since July of 2025 by walking 2 miles a day and fasting 12-16 hours a night from 630 to 830 am or more this is the scan. Would the scan be that mus proportioned?

I see my oncologist June 25. I assume she will start me on hormone therapy. I want to take ivermectin 12 mg to start to see how it affects me. I am thinking start the hormone therapy and give it a month? Then start the ivermectin?:can I just take ivermectin or do I need mebendazole as well? How beneficial is ivermectin alone? If I can only tolerate 25 mg will that be enough? I don’t have a ton of money to get all this so I want to make sure I get the best option for my situation. I also saw the Modified Citrus Pectin<strong style=”font-size: inherit; color: rgb(112, 112, 112);”>.

Everyone’s cancer is a bit different, so one has to do research to find what seems to be working for their type. Truthfully, the American Medical System is owned by Big Pharma and Bureaucrats who enforce the RULES. Patients have to understand this fact in order to get over the stigma (through fear-mongering and peer pressure) in order to be open to new, and hopefully less toxic and MORE effective than what Big Pharma forces doctors to accept as “STANDARD OF CARE”. This Standard of Care is a Bureaucratic legal weapon forced on doctors and patients. If a doctor tries to prescribe something outside of Standard of Care, the doctor gets fired from the hospital by the Bureaucrats in charge. Then the Bureaucrats at the State level get involved with Inquiries (Inquisitions) and take the doctor’s license away. This is reality in the United States of America at the moment. I literally PRAY Standard of Care gets completely overturned with zero legal penalties to doctors and patients.
Also, you CAN get Ivermectin if you can scrape up the $95/month; I get Ivermectin from 3 Rivers Pharmacy in Indiana (Listed in the Pharmacy Search on this web site). (I am also taking the pill the oncologist wants me to take as well as
Mebendazole from a different compound pharmacy similar to Ivermectin). Your Oncologist will be tracking your blood work every 3 months or so, so I think you are wrong to say that you cannot take it without supervision. Yes, you CAN take it as your own informed decision. BUT remember, the doctor now is an agent of the State and is OBLIGATED by REGULATIONS AND RULES to report ANYTHING you tell him. The hospital could force him to drop you as a patient, even against his will. This is the current reality of American Medicine. My opinion, and it is just an opinion and not medical advice, take the Ivermectin at a high enough dose to matter if your own research shows it will not interfere with the treatment the Oncologist wants to give you. After all, it is only your life at stake at this point!!!Also, Dr William Makis has a substack to follow who is trying to open a Cancer clinic in Florida. He was just granted his medical license by the Florida State licensing board. He has seen that most of his health-coached patients have better results combining traditional cancer therapy along WITH Ivermectin and Mebendazole (and sometimes CBD oil), but it depends on the type of cancer (breast cancer tends to respond well with these types of combo therapies, he says). His substack is – https://makisw.substack.com/ . His true (not fake) Twitter/X account is https://x.com/MakisMedicine , unfortunately, his services will not be free and he will probably not be able to take Medicare – ANOTHER and different problem with the American Medical SYSTEM!!!

I don’t know what I will be taking yet. I will know more tomorrow but the MRI is not done yet so??
I try to get information everywhere but don’t know what to believe anymore. I tried twc.com and I think money is the main goal there,I don’t trust them. I do like this forum but I am a newbie and still trying to navigate through. My plan is to start with the hormone therapy Dana Farber will offer and get the ivermectin mebendazole treatment just not from TWC. Can you tell me what you are taking? According to TWC I need to take about 100 mg ivermectin and a lot of mebendazole. That would cost a lot through them.
I will definitely look into the Indiana pharmacy.

Another concern for me is I take supplements Bromelain 500 mg, Quercetin Phytosome 250mg, zinc, C, are the ones that I was told could block the the effects of my hormone or targeted treatment and I would have to stop taking them. I have not been sick since 2020, my allergies are minimal. I used to take Allegra, fluconase, Sudafed, you name it and that barely worked. I don’t want to stop taking these supplements.

Hi I started taking ivermectin 12 mg and am now up to 24 mg. I’m still waiting for treatment so I figured I might as well just do it. I switched oncologists again because the one at Dana farber started doing fear tactics to get me to do liver biopsy and I don’t respond well to that crap. I have no trust with that person. I am at UMass Worcester now and the oncologist there has been decent so far. She explained that my biopsy was very simple due to the location and I would not need sedation, I didn’t. It was very quick and painless. Now waiting for results to see if ER status has changed. Ivermectin doesn’t care about that so I am on it. If they start hormone therapy I will continue to take ivermectin and DR Marik metobolic protocol. Iqm very healthy right now and I intend to stay the way. If the ER status has changed then they will probably want to start targeted therapy and I will have to figure out if ivermectin will work with that but for now I am good. I want to let the doctor know about it but I don’t think I will quite yet. They know about the metobolic protocol and are good with that. I cannot afford to pay a doctor,I can barely afford the ivermectin. So this is what it is.

A relative of mine recently had a liver biopsy. It was tough but it identified what kind of cancer and where it had metastasized from. Radiofrequency ablation was done but did not get all of it and a now a Y-90 treatment (radioembolization) is being proposed. This relative is also on Medicare.
Liver mets are ugly and aggressive. Have you considered any clinical trials?
I am always in favor of Ivermectin of course, and sounds like you have been given some good leads.

for many people today cancer should not be fatal, but you have to escape the suffocating web of the FDA and big pharmaceuticals, Almost everything they do is a scam to empty your pockets without curing you. Even for the simplest of medical issues a cured patient gives no repeat business is their mantra. When you have the govt, big pharmaceutical and the media against you it is difficult to escape. Have the courage to escape and you will have a much better chance. Join Dr Makis email list and contact him and he will open your eyes without emptying your pocket. They think they invented medicine but in fact it was invented in India and China 5000 years ago, of course they don’t want you to know about these cures for every day diseases. They go to the Amazon and find plants that have been curing diseases and then try to patent them not to cure but for repeat business. Europe and USA have banned as far as I know homeopathy treatments as witch doctors, do you need to know more. Break out of the strangle hold and you will have a healthy and long life. The other option you are trapped. The covid nonsense should tell you they were all lying thru their teeth but no-one went to jail
Makis will give you examples of people with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that once was fatal according to big pharmaceuticals being cured. Contact him you have nothing to lose and your wallet especially will thank you. A word of warning, there are a bunch of fake Dr Makis big pharma fakes to discredit the man, thats how afraid they are. Cancer is caused by parasites, nothing else and they can be killed easily for most cancers. Good luck

My suggestions are not technical.
They’re from gathered experience. There is a lot of suppressed information in our world.Use raw milk. Dr Tedd Koren DC says milk is like blood except its colour. It improves quantity and quality of blood.
Get a “superwomen” shot of medical grade Ozone. Dr Wayne McCarthy ND has an informative interview online. It’s an old yet effective protocol.
Ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) was extensively used in the 1940s and 1950s. Research it. It’s available today. It will help you.
Hoxsey biomedical center. Effective as well as being cost effective.
My family have used all. I recommend as an option to consider as each protocol is well known with a long history of success.
Big picture.
Insource responsibility. You are in charge and you make the final choice.
Outsource information.
Look for track record of performance.
Fear should not be used to motivate you. If anyone uses fear ditch them.
Gather your supporters around you. You must exclude the unsupportive.
All the best with your journey of healing. You can have succes in this matter.

Hello, you asked about ivermectin. I say try it. It is super safe and don’t worry about the monitoring but if you improve it will be noticed I would assume. It certainly can’t hurt you and can be done along with other treatments you have going. Key is proper dosing. I can tell you several ways to get it if there is some way you can message me.

Rachel you can become a contact and message each other here on the forums. Or you can share what you know in the discussion as it may help others.

I don’t have any medical background but know several people who have survived severe cancers using alternative therapies. My former boss, Rob, survived Stage IV pancreatic cancer in 2011, and 15 years later he is still going strong — he basically outran the cancer by overloading his body with good nutrition and supplements. He even wrote a 46-page Word doc describing everything he did to overcome it. One of the books Rob recommended was by Chris Wark titled, “Chris Beat Cancer”. My read of that book was that Chris’s attitude was the remarkable thing – he steeled his mind that he was fight his cancer with everything he had, and I sure that attitude was a huge factor in his ultimate success.
On the ivermectin option, recently there was a very interesting paper published on Pubmed / NIH, called, “Real-world Clinical Outcomes of Ivermectin and Mebendazole in Cancer Patients: Results from a Prospective Observational Cohort”. The paper can be found and downloaded at: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42203321/
I first found out about this paper from a very good online summary done by Jeff Childers at: https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/pandemic-blessings-saturday-may-30
Jeff’s summary has an embedded 24-minute YouTube link where Dr. John Campbell walks you through the paper step by step. Dr. Campbell’s video can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM1t5BdptT4
Your cancer journey and exploration of alternatives to radiation / chemo / surgery is well worth taking…. you have to be your own best advocate. Keep and open mind to conventional and alternative therapies, and keep both options open. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers as you fight though this! Blessings……

Consider a whole food low-fat plant-based diet. Keep protein intake around 7% of total calories. This should be the foundation for all other treatments. See http://www.nutritionaloncology.net
