Finding out the why of these efforts would be important because people could then understand more receptively about the politics, strategies, propaganda, etc. around the measures taken.
See, it’s difficult to accept as a “why” that they want less people in the world. Because, although it could be partly true, they still need people to do labor, right? I know the robot takeover is near, but the efforts started way before that takeover was considered.
But then, there’s an evident benefit for these entities that everyone understands, which is money. Lots of it, $billions, maybe $trillions, which are quantities difficult to grasp.
Although that makes more sense, people need evidence to better process the situation. And even then, denial, shame and comfort are such powerful emotions that, even with enough proof, many…,maybe most, simply fall in.
Dr. Aseem Malhotra calls it “willful blindness”.
I think the “blindness” can be interchange with “ignorance” or “denial” and keep the same meaning. It’s a conscious thing that societies prefer to do instead of confronting the state and its “authorities”.
I did. It was very uncomfortable. People distanced from me, including family, and I lose some friends. As many others experienced across the world.
Of course, this was during the covid “pandemic”, but the climate change discussion, originally “global warming”, is very similar.
We didn’t understand at first, but knowledgeable scientists and researchers already chimed in.
Climate change is mostly causes by the gradual movement of our planet’s axis, which means it can’t be stopped. Climate change and other effects are inevitable.
Unfortunately, this isn’t understood by people, because this fact isn’t discussed much. We keep talking about the greenhouse gasses and such, because that propaganda brings $$$$ to interested entities that don’t care about the impact to “lesser” humans. Those arguments were created for the global warming model, which we know is incorrect.
Attention to these gasses and fossil fuels is important, but because they’re dangerous contaminants for the environment and humans. We can’t live with those contaminants and fossil fuels keep increasing in cost, which means oppression and suffering for humanity by way of making power inaccessible.
That’s another issue.
The inevitability of climate change means that the environmental impact will happen, in turn humans must adapt. Governments should plan and help their citizens with the coming situations, but they aren’t.
This is when people must organize to demand for adequate measures, which have nothing to do with the greenhouse gasses or any other stuff related to temperature.
Geographical impact studies are needed to warn and help the people who will receive it.
Is any geoengineering been done for this inevitability?
