In all the discussion of bird flu, most of “our” experts don’t address the elephant of the GoF work that’s already been done to make H5N1 human transmissible and more virulent. I may be mistaken, but I think that was back in 2014 and resulted in the “moratorium” on GoF. We just keep being told it isn’t a big deal (pink-eye, etc). But from the reality of SARS-Cov-2, it should be obvious that something dangerous in on the shelf, for which we are just being psychologically ramped up. I wish there were more concrete discussion of what we’d best be prepared for in term of prophylaxis and early treatment — i.e. maybe not perfect, but a first approximation, of the sort FLCCC came up with early in COVID.

Are there any vaccines/shots on the current childhood schedule or recommended for adults that are being switched out or considering to switch out with an mRNA version? If so, which ones? Would we expect the traditional vaccines to remain options as well/on the market (even if not explicitly stated to the patient when discussing) and how would we go about discussing this with our doctors? Basically, what do we need to be on the look out for with mRNA vaccines and how might we avoid being blindsided when going in for routine scheduled vaccinations or boosters?
