Blood clots at 28, even when you’re incredibly fit?

NFL quarterback Jalen Hurts discovered that he had blood clots in both lungs.

Dr Joseph Varon joined ‘The National Desk’ to make the point that being young, healthy and physically fit doesn’t make you immune to dangerous blood clots.

He also raises questions about the decision to clear Hurts to play and fly after a clot was discovered in his leg.

👉 Watch Dr Varon’s interview here:

Helen — I couldn’t find any confirmation that Jalen Hurts died. Most reports suggest he has a good prognosis and is expected to fully recover. I watched Dr. Varon’s analysis. While interesting and informative about clots generally and about what blood thinners do and don’t do, I’m surprised Dr. Varon didn’t mention the Covid injections. It is well established in the medical literature that clotting is among the most deadly and sinister effects of the shots. I suspect it’s highly unusual to find clots in a young athlete who is at his performance peak. While I’m not a health professional, I have common sense. I have no doubt that in the absence of relevant medical history suggesting Hurts has a propensity to suffer clots that the most likely cause is the Covid injections.

You are 100% correct …I messed up.

I was working on two stories about blood clots, and managed to mix up these stories. Huge aplogies for this huge mistake and thanks for pointing it out.

From what I understand, these are not associated with normal blood clots/coagulation, but white fibrous clots which have been described as “calamari like”, which continue to grow, primarily in the vaccinated cohort, and appear to be impervious to plasmin, which deals with most naturally forming clots, I have heard D-Dimer is a good test to identify clots, but whether it would react to this novel phenomenon, is a question for someone with more knowhow that I have.

You scared me this morning! Jalen isn’t dead, just ruled out of playing ball for the time being. But clots such as this are extremely unusual in a physically very fit and young athlete. If we had true transparency, we could explore whether COVID shots had anything to do with this. But alas, we are still at a place where instead of naming the shots as the cause or contributor to a death, we get “cause of death not stated.” We will truly never know the extent of harm caused by this heinous drug.

Jalen did not die! He is expected to make a full recovery, but out of the current NFL season:(

Speaking of blood clots. Last Feb. I was diagnosed with a blood clot in the left leg. We are very active and healthy. No covid shots. I was 76 and never had clots. This came out of the blue and quite disconcerting. The hardest part was told I had to take blood thinner and couldn’t bicycle for weeks. Bummer. Seems OK now. My sister and brother both have Factor V Leiden but my test for it years ago did not detect the disease. Any ideas?
