I recently read about how simply walking through a forest can positively impact mitochondrial health, helping our cells function better, adapt, and restore balance. A reminder that our body thrives when it’s supported in the right environment.

So when I saw this image to talk about the release of the latest issue of the Journal of Independent Medicine it reminded me of that study.

I think it feels a bit like that “forest” for science—a space where ideas can grow, connect, and be explored without the usual pressures.

The journal’s sixth issue continues its focus on independent, peer-reviewed research that prioritises patients over profit and remains free from pharmaceutical funding or political bias

In a world where information can feel filtered or influenced, having a platform dedicated to open scientific inquiry feels more important than ever.

Thank you for being a part of this wild journey.
