Here’s an interesting statistic, research suggests that up to 40% of cancers may be preventable.

Yet when we talk about cancer prevention, how often does the conversation focus on screenings and early detection rather than what we can do to reduce our risk in the first place?

Dr Paul Marik believes preventing cancer is probably just as important as treating it.

In this short clip from his IMA Academy lesson, he shares some of the simple, practical steps he considers most important for lowering cancer risk.

I have to say, that having lived through this experience recently, and having seen how our medical system performed during and since 2020, whatever I am told by the medical experts, is generally taken with scepticism, followed by a lot of fact checking from reliable sources, Dr Aseem Malhotra reminded us of a quote from someone widely considered to be the godfather of evidence based medicine, David L Sackett, who said, half of what you learn in medical school, will be dead wrong, or out of date within 5 years of your graduation, I put that to the test recently by asking the consultant haematologist, if he ever does any of his own research, the answer? NO. this must mean, any updates he receives, probably come from pharma interests, and are not cross referenced for accuracy, for scans/tests to work, those carrying out these tests must be trustworthy, currently, I trust most medical professionals as much as I trust our politicians.

Thank you for commenting. You’re certainly not alone in feeling this way. I think many of us have lost confidence and trust in the medical system and are now asking more questions and looking more closely at the evidence for ourselves.

That is one of the reasons I am excited about the development of IMA Academy (a full academy of independent medical education).

I have some comments, from my being a lay person, no medical background, a bit of a forensic technical reader I am. For right or wrong, these are my thoughts:

    – my supposition is that death data from actuarial tables will be forthcoming, showing trauma detail realty from 1998 forward.

    – many in my church did not come to church- in Covid- they saw fellow church goers in classrooms sick with covid- then impaled or die- at scale. Signs in the church said “must wear mask”. (I felt like I understood the leapers (sp?) in the Bible). They told myself and others this. This was brutal. Well many young became sick so frequently- still occurring.

    – did Queen Elizabeth pass from vax? Did Dolly Parton? Many wonderful folks and friends and acquaintances of mine vaxed- obedient and trusting government. Many are on “pins and needles” waiting for the shoe to drop on them. I guess the media will pick up on this up one day/: oh scratch that/ never-mind/ disregard. (Is this not the global “elephant in the room”?)

    – HHS Kennedy in early 2025 had 3,300 or so volunteers from “War Room” (Steve Bannon spoke of this twice where I hear the broadcast) scan records for 3 or so weeks, from government long term HHS & all things medial data- millions of pages- their task was to capture and note subject areas highlighted by HHS Kennedy. There was found back to 1960’s a treasure trove of that data- much of ill will from our federal government. In summation there is so much data to reveal that it will take more than this administration to do so- HHS Kennedy stated. It is said “We the People” deserve to see this info. In summary “Do no Harm” was hardly a government goal.

    – I cherish Dr Marik cancer efforts. He prods, captures, assimilates data and he is befriended by trusted allies, a s he is much a talented doctor as his doctor efforts and global medical writings in practice proved. His efforts are unfolding. I so appreciate many who use or are inspired by his 5 year test, his reveal of info ongoing. Many of my friends, family, acquaintances, even doctors have benefited from Dr Marik cancer preventative and “while with cancer” guidance. It is difficult for me to hear the metabolism piece, strong enhancer & instigator of cancer, to know it was pushed /tamped down for 2/3 of a century while how many perished? While how much did some medical entities put their eye on profits over patients?

In closing- several decades ago a young man came to me to talk, in my church -to speak as I had not seen him in a few years. You see this young man was in college, a chemical engineering education major, and he worked a co-op approach. His co-op work for 3 months was with salary which paid for his education for 3 months. He had a hands on education- in this manner. Though it took longer for the education, through this cycling approach.

This young man, working for that chemical company every 3 months, saw things he could not un-see. He told me, as he was home on break, “we do not need any more knowledge in industry. But we do need ethics.” He said “We need it badly. It is critical. It needs to be taught in schools and colleges everywhere.” He was so disappointed to see the power of industry turned on its head- for profit alone so often. This gentleman is now 45 and a wonderful dad husband chemist and with many more attributes.

-He sowed a seed around him – bless him. Bless his family who inspired him. I was his sunday school teacher for 3 years in middle school. He sure sowed seeds in myself.

Thank you Dr Marik – you are over the target- can you tell?
