Seeking mentorship

    Hello,

I haven’t been active on this forum, but I am a medical doctor who has been working in a conventional medicine, FQHC setting while privately exploring information related to vaccines and alternative health practices. I recently realized that I need to develop my career in a way that honors the truth about what I am learning about vaccine injuries, even though that feels hard to do in my current job.

I don’t think I’m ready to take on a new job yet, but I imagine that it would help me to connect with a new set of patients who will be interested in the kind of work I would like to offer when I am. First, I still need to develop a new skill set, the skill set of offering real help to people with solutions beyond the medications/guidelines that the system recommends. Which are still what I rely on and use in my current practice. It feels like a conundrum, but I’m wondering if someone on the forum has a specific reference to someone who is offering mentorship, or if someone reading feels like you yourself are in a position to mentor through a career transition?

I live in Minnesota, and I just saw Toby Rogers and Del Bigtree present at the Health Freedom Summit in Alexandria, MN last weekend. I also went to the CHD conference in Austin last November and Mary Holland recommended this organization, so I’m looking into it now. I have community with friends who are excited for me to make a career shift, and I’m looking more support to figure out next steps.

    Thanks for reading!

@waterbird We are delighted that another doctor will be joining the ranks of our real, science-based community.

I’ve shared your post with our team, but I also wanted to point you towards a few great resources to help you get started.

We have recently launched the IMA Academy. All of the lectures are free to watch, with a charge only if you would like to earn CME credit for the time spent.

    Find out more here:

    https://imahealth.org/independent-medical-alliance-launches-ima-academy/

We’ve also announced the dates for our 2027 IMA Medical Education Conference, and you can register your interest here:

It’s a fantastic event and an opportunity to meet a room full of like-minded people. The connections you make there could prove invaluable as you begin this journey. We would love to see you there.

Finally, Dr. Molly James has plans afoot to help doctors establish thriving independent practices. You can follow her work and stay updated here:

    https://jamesclinic.com/ and https://maverickmedicalventures.com/

And of course the IMA Trusted Referral Network for when you want to attract patients https://network.imahealth.org/

We’re delighted to have you joining the community and look forward to seeing where this journey takes you.

Welcome, and I applaud you for your change in views. We need more doctors to come around to the reality of what has happened since Covid.
