Did poison win today?
The supreme court sides with Monsanto 7 to 2.
We can no longer sue pesticide manufacturers when they fail to warn us that their products can make us sick as long as the EPA says that the product is fine.
Can the EPA be trusted? Many believe not, they believe its a captured agency run by the manufacturers themselves.
What can be done?
There is apparently organisation happening against the bill in congress to overturn the supreme court decision and once I hear more details I will update the post.

One thing people can do is STOP BUYING POISONS AND PUTTING THEM ON YOUR LAWN. People who do spray glyphosate on their lawn may not be aware that those of us who know about how toxic it is feel sad for them in their ignorance. I pity dogs and chidlren who roll around on it innocently.

That’s what I worry about, as well. I have a hard time enjoying parks and public spaces for this reason.
The Supreme Court decision makes no sense to me.

Agree, it’s potentially going to have such an impact on so many aspects of peoples lives.

If it is important to avoid glyphosate, it is better not to sit on the grass unless you know it has not been sprayed. I would guess once can find if whether a given park is sprayed by calling the people who maintain it and asking, but they can always lie. Reading about glyphosate often makes people more interested in staying away from it.
Grass which has NOT been sprayed has dandelions and other weeds in it. Grass with no other plant species has been sprayed with something–unless you know of the person who pulls up the weeds.
