I, for one, never bought into the (to lower risk of bleeding) – don’t take aspirin
to prevent a heart attack until after your first heart attack “logic”. Colon cancer history in my family also says
take aspirin. I bite off about a 1/3 of a 325 mg bayer aspirin
and fully dissolve it in my mouth, takes but a few seconds, then drink it down with a full glass
of water – easy on the stomach. I break the remaining in half with my
fingers for 2 more daily doses or bite off a half the next day.

Agree with you Jamesk. I was very suspicious when the CDC recommended stopping daily ASA use right in the middle of COVID. Made no sense. We never stopped in my family.
