Has anyone experienced “olfactory hallucinations” as a result of Covid? This is not loss of smell but continuous overriding smell on top of common odors? And if so could this be treated with ivermectin?

I lost my taste and smell 2 months after having COVID in 8/2021. I kept smelling smoke when there wasn’t any present. My taste and smell have been altered since. I have also noticed that I continue to smell a certain thing long after it has left my presence, as if I’m still in the room – as much as 30 minutes after. I’ve tried almost every remedy in the past 3 years and have not found a solution.

My non medical suggestion would be to give IVM a try unless you have some issue using it, like an adverse prior reaction. It is extremely safe to use so the risk benefit ratio is pretty high in favor of use. I would start with the therapeutic dose of .2mg/kg as has been suggested for SC2. For a lot of people .1mg/kg is sufficient for tackling viral related matters.

thank you. I’ve done a trial of ivermectin about a year ago. I’m pretty sure it was 0.2mg/kg for about 3 weeks. I was consider 0.3 or 0.6. I’ve been reading through your posts today…encouraged at all the information you’ve given about where to purchase. I’m in the process of getting familiar with Indiamart as we speak. I appreciate it more than you know!

You are most welcome. This organization has been outstanding in its advocacy for Honest Medicine and if I can help in some way that is good for everyone.
