  • Is The Flu Shot Being Mandated?

It was only back in April that the Department of War decided that no flu vaccines would not be managed for the military.

But a recent outbreak of flu in Texas at a base where they train soldiers, two hospitalizations and one person that died and he had supposedly tested positive for flu (we have seen that use of these words before).

So it looks like the DOW has granted an exemption for the military to reverse course and again mandate flu shots for most military and civilian personnel.

I enjoyed listening to the CHD TV interview with Suzanne Humphries where she considers all the possibilities that may have an impact on the outbreak including large studies showing flu shots were ineffective, the extreme heat and the vaccinations given to all recruits. (link in comments)

I wonder if we will always have leaders that flip flop each time there is an outbreak?

I think we will until we truly break the cult of belief in the effectiveness of vaccines. So far it’s mostly been about personal freedom because there is the possibility of injury, but the majority of people still believe vaccines are much more effective than they really are. The only way to do that is to stop anyone from referencing relative benefits and only use absolute benefits. Or numbers to treat.

The flu shots never worked–and do not work now– because the virus mutates at two locations (on the surface and in the nucleus) faster than the scientists can study it and design a vaccine in response.

It’s obvious to anybody who takes the time to read the relevant studies that flu shots don’t prevent flu, don’t reduce hospitalizations, and don’t lessen flu severity. Indeed, DoD’s own studies show that flu shots make injectees more likely to have respiratory infections. The fact DoD flip flopped so quickly on its flu shot policy shows they don’t understand the studied and don’t know what they’re doing. The flip flop evidences ignorance and shows the DoD is unqualified to be making personal medical decisions for its personnel, never mind the adverse privacy and medical freedom implications they undermine when they presume to substitute their own poor medical judgment for that of the adult individuals.
