“I feel very on my own with my cancer.

My oncologist are really only there to check for cancer but in between visits they do nothing and have no suggestions. I’m grateful for having all this knowledge at my fingertips so I can take control of my health and future “❤

One of the many comments under a recent interview with Professor Thomas Seyfried (it’s a brilliant interview and I will link to it in the comments)

This comment … it really sums up what most people feel that are dealing with any real health challenge, doctors are happy to talk and treat a symptom but not to support healing.

I am almost three months into a very long and mostly painful recovery from chemo/radiation. Never again.

That said, I can relate to your lament. I received virtually no support from any doctors along the way including the immuno-therapy that I had been promised. I’ve been almost totally isolated to prevent the flu, etc. Still got a ways to go.
