Doctors so Blind to Long Covid Symptoms

My family just moved to Florida, where we mistakenly assumed that health care might be a bit better due to Florida’s lack of covid crackdowns and the high number of retirees. Oh no! We came down with a Covid variant in April and both of us had heart arrhythmias from it. I stopped them after a couple of weeks- plus I had put myself on ivermectin and the recommended vitamins for at least a month! My husband got it after I had it and he has had a lot of trouble with his heart. They have told him that he has congestive heart failure, even tho he does not have all of the symptoms. He’s been in and out of the ER. One of the docs that is on the doctors for covid recommended on this site, started with him as I had contacted him for my husband. He ordered a D-dimer test and it was elevated, but this doctor dropped him like a hot rock once he heard “CHF”!! He was NO HELP at all, so be careful even with the docs on this site! Anyway, we are going to put him back on the ivermectin to see if that will help heal his heart. We are also going to be moving back to Maine!! If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to comment! TY.

I am so sorry you’re feeling unwell, and it can be incredibly frustrating when you’re still seeking the right healthcare provider. Sometimes, it takes a few visits to find someone truly aligned with your needs.

Remember, you could take our protocol to any integrative health specialist in your area that would be happy to support your recovery, using the guide, to find out what works best for you.

Long COVID Protocol can be found here :

    https://imahealth.org/protocol/i-recover-long-covid-treatment/

And there are a few links to explore here https://imahealth.org/search/?q=What+are+the+major+treatment+goals+for+long+COVID%3F

The IMA have put together some helpful guides and videos to support you in finding the right doctor for your care. Here are some useful links you may want to explore:

    https://imahealth.org/how-to-change-your-doctor/

    https://imahealth.org/choosing-a-trusted-healthcare-provider/

    https://imahealth.org/courses/conference-2024/lessons/a-patients-guide-to-finding-aligned-providers/

    https://imahealth.org/tools-and-guides/5-things-to-look-for-when-choosing-your-healthcare-provider/

Other options to find providers are:

This link to a map displays the locations of 2646 direct primary care (DPC) practices across all 50 states plus Washington, DC.

    https://mapper.dpcfrontier.com/

For direct primary care doctors who want to be listed, consider joining JoinTheWedge.com https://jointhewedge.com/ through the Stand for Health Freedom organization. They have a network of over 500 physicians, including direct primary care and direct specialist care practices from across the United States.

Hope this is helpful and you soon find a doctor that helps you gain back your health.

I’m not a medical professional, but as a person who is dealing with post-vaccine syndrome, I strongly suggest you do more than ivermectin and look at what IMA-HelenT pointed to. For example:

Nattokinase: This highly effective fibrinolytic and antiplatelet agent targets the abnormal clotting that can occur from spike protein-related disease.

When I read heart issues, this one pops to mind especially because it helps to address blood clots. It’s OTC, but, you do want to have a physician give the go ahead. If you were on blood thinners etc. it can be contraindicated. https://youtu.be/22HJmgzrpqw will give you an idea of just how difficult it is to treat micro clots and why they occur. But this is only one aspect. Spike is very difficult to clean up, but when you do start cleaning it up you can have some fantastic turn around in your symptoms.

The protocol has a LOT of bright doctors and thinking that went into it. Ivermectin is good stuff, but it is only one angle on a complex problem.

I am so sorry for these worrisome experiences with both your health and the medical response you received. Very frustrating and disappointing. Hard to make suggestions as you and yours have cases not known in the abstract, however, my general approach would be to work on building the immune system through nutrition and mega supplement therapy plus any medical product that you chose. I can understand a long distance practitioner fearing CHF without knowing your personally. However, it would have been good if he had recommended someone for you to work with. One herbal that is good for heart is Hawthorne berry in the tincture. But I would study this first with your condition. Working with a naturopath might be good. My goto first is always Homeopathy. But you have some choices to make. My best advice is to work on staying calm as stress is such a major antagonist to building health. And find ways to beef up your nutrition (pardon the pun–it is not a recommendation). And my best wishes to you both.
