Cyclospora?

Apparently there’s some sort of Cyclospora outbreak and my spouse read about eating certain veggies being risky for the infection. We are in Collin County and there are several cases here, though only 4000 total in the country. When I asked what the treatment was he read that it is certain antibiotics. I think that’s strange considering it is a parasite. According to AI (which I don’t trust), ivermectin is ineffective even though it is anti- parasitic. I wanted to clarify this as so often ivermectin is kicked to the curb when it can help so many things. On the other hand, antibiotics are notorious for creating problems for lots of people, not the least of which is gut dysbiosis. Also, what about DMSO? Supposedly, AI says it’s also ineffective but I’ve read other research that suggests it can help. We aren’t sick but we are just learning and trying to decide if we should be concerned since we are both healthy.
