Research suggests that up to 40% of cancers may be preventable. Yet when we think about cancer prevention, we often think first about screenings and early detection.

But what about the everyday things we can do to help lower our risk?

In this short clip from his IMA Academy lesson, Dr Paul Marik shares what he considers some of the most important steps towards cancer prevention.

He discusses why addressing insulin resistance is high on his list, alongside stopping smoking, limiting alcohol and cutting back on processed foods and sugary drinks. He also explores the potential roles of vitamin D and green tea.

Sad that he suggests D supplements- they’re all such garbage and I have never suggested them to a patient- cancer or not . Consuming rat poison is not smart/ there are better, safer ways to increase the steroid hormone called “vitamin D”
