Auras in peripheral vision on Long Covid recovery treatment

I have been on the I-RECOVER: Long COVID Treatment for 3 weeks now and have had wonderful results from it so far. I am at .3mg/kg ivermectin and am going to increase to .6mg/kg and try it out.

My only issue is that I have strange “squigglies” in my peripheral vision since about day 3 on the protocol. They were very intense the first couple of days but diminished and have stayed at the same level of intensity ever since. I thought they would go away, but they haven’t.

They are most noticeable when I first wake up and when I’m in bright light, natural or artificial.

They are not painful, just annoying. My eyesight actually seems to have improved, aside from these weird auras.

Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know what is causing this? Should I be concerned? My doctor isn’t concerned, but I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this?

I found that IVM at high doses did make my vision a bit weird in the bright light in the morning. It is not unusual.

I had the vision symptoms you describe when I was taking Ivermectin prophylactically in the early stages of the plandemic. As stated by others, the symptoms vanished within a couple of weeks after ceasing regular dosing.

There is another possible malady that you might consider.

Several years ago, before the advent of COVID, I occasionally experienced a light show with both eyes that was akin to what you would see in a kaleidoscope. I searched the internet using the kaleidoscope vision terminology, which led me to ocular migraine, then whittled down to migraine aura. I experience these events periodically. They last for about twenty minutes, then disappear. I do not have the headaches that often accompany the light shows. There is no cure or major cause for concern. My ophthalmologist basically says just enjoy the shows.

Yes I have dealt with migraine auras for several years. I have had two in the last month. I am just glad that the “ivermectin” auras don’t float over the middle of your eye! 😂

I have wondered if there is some connection chemically to both? They present very differently though.

Yes, as others have already posted both Drs Kory and Marik have said if any issues emerge with vision, so pause taking and re-evaluate with your provider. I love so many already got to this one with solid responses.
