Are We Missing the Sulfur Piece?

Are We Missing the Sulfur Piece?
I did some digging this weekend on sulfur-rich foods and ended up listening to a fascinating interview with Dr. Stephanie Seneff and Dr. Mercola.
Dr. Seneff looks at how sulfur helps proteins keep their shape and supports enzymes, metabolism, detoxification, liver function, collagen, joints, skin, and overall repair.
She discusses how low sulfur may be connected to problems like:
Leaky gut
Arthritis
Autism
Alzheimer’s
How well we handle sun exposure
Detoxing from vaccines
It seems the best sources are real foods: bone broth, pastured eggs — especially the yolks — grass-fed meat, fish and seafood, onions, garlic, and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower.
She also recommended Epsom salt baths — about ¼ cup in a hot bath twice a week — as a simple way to get magnesium sulfate through the skin. Basically, a cheap version of a mineral spring at home. I love a soak, so I’ll be adding this to my routine twice a week.
I’ve bookmarked the interview because she is so full of knowledge, and it was packed with so many interesting points that I’ll need to revisit it again.
But once again, it seems a basic nutrient has been ignored and is rarely spoken about.
Did you know much about sulfur?
I’ve dropped the link in the comments — watch the interview and let me know what you think.
