Amino Acid therapy

I have been reading about Amino Acid therapy/supplementation for depression, anxiety & addictions by helping support the brain neurotransmitters which are affected in those conditions.

Does anyone know if this actually helps & works to alleviate symptoms as compared to nutraceutical and nonpharmacological interventions?

I found “ Academy for Addiction & Mental Health Nutrition” organization which supports Amino Acid therapy & provides certification & training on it.

    Anyone with experience with this?

    Greetings!

I have been a member of the Alliance for over a decade and have been using amino acids therapy in my practice, especially with addiction recovery. Found them to be very helpful by giving the brain the neurotransmitters that often gets depleted. Will love to give you more detailed information if you wish. Also, check out the “Mood Cure” by Julia Ross.

    Thank you,
