    Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

An enlarged prostate gland to most of us. I like simple and natural methods for treating any conditions and I loved this video from Dr. Berg that discussed why this happens and offering a simple recipe for men to drink daily to inhibit aromatase to decrease eastrogen production that leads to the body producing estrogen that leads to the prostate gland becoming enlarged.

The remedy (drink) is to take a whole lemon (skin and all), add a glas of water and blend, add 5 drops of stevia or half cup of blueberries and drink this throughout the day. The peel is very important so don’t throw that out.

I am starting this today! I really want to avoid the drugs and procedures prescribed for this condition, so hope beginning this regimen before the condition advances will help.

It would be interesting to know if this works, and if so, would it be an option for ER+ breast cancer ladies now facing life on estrogen blockers…..

I sometimes question the content of videos from Dr. Berg. So I did an inquiry and found this RCT on PubMed that addressed this issue.

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8876703/

Conclusion was that a drug that reduces aromatase was ineffective. I would be sceptical that lemonade would be any more effective against BPH.
