It is difficult to find a good independent or functional medical doctor. IMF.org, functionalmddirectory.com and americanacademyoffunctionalmedicine.org are resources but available doctors are not plentiful or widespread yet. There are none within a 50 mile radius of me.

In the UK, few and far between, and about half of those are limited in the services they can provide due to lack of resources, ie, diagnostic equipment etc, our NHS system is paid for through taxes, a bit like a pre-payment system, which most people rely on due to the high cost of going private.
