Moving back and forth between Communities and website posts

If I’m in an area in Communities that have a link to something on the FLCCC website, will there be a way to move back and forth between that and Communities? For example — this post in the monographs and reviews — if I go read the monograph, come back to the FLCCC site and then want to get back to where I started at that Communities post, will that be possible?

Yes. But because of the complex architecture, we have to develop that integration ourselves.

How it will likely work though, is every post on the blog site will have a “Join the Discussion” link that will take you to a discussion thread that was automatically generated for it. These discussion threads will serve as the site comments system.

The discussion threads will have a link back to the post as well as an excerpt or oEmbed of the content.

Additionally, we will be redoing the sub-site and main site navigation so you can move more seamlessly between the different parts of the website.

<div>Great! That will be a really seamless integration.</div><div>

Another question — if I just wanted to give a 👍on your replay rather than writing something, is it possible to do that?

Not in discussions, no. In the groups feed you can do a simple “like”. But for this system you need to post a reply, which can be nothing but an emoji. But we can’t do direction “reactions” to a post or reply.
