I have found regularly eating fermented foods has decreased belching for me. Drinking a small glass of kombucha will usually stop a belching episode in it’s track. Try kimchee, kombucha, kefir, and or natto (thankfully available in capsules as the taste is beyond my ability to adjust my taste buds to enjoy it!

I’ve also found geranium oil repels them(and other biting insects) as well as smelling lovely. We also take a homeopathic lyme nosode every week late spring through summer. https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Formulas-Nosode-Drops-ounces/dp/B07GJJ9R1X
