Maternity doctors are usually ultra-cautious when it comes to pregnancy. We’re told not to eat soft cheese, deli meat, or sushi. We’re warned against Advil, hot tubs, too much caffeine—even certain herbal teas are off the table.

Why? Because everything we put into our bodies might affect the baby. Even minor risks are taken seriously.

🧬 So why were mRNA COVID-19 vaccines recommended to pregnant women—

➡️ even though the original trials excluded them,

➡️ and we lacked long-term safety data at the time?

This stands out as a major exception to the “better safe than sorry” principle we’re normally encouraged to follow.

Combine that with what we now know about post-vaccination side effects, the absence of full liability, and limited real-world data from early use—and it raises real questions.

    💬 Let’s Discuss:

Why do you think pregnant women were encouraged to take these shots so early?

Should pregnancy have been an automatic exclusion until more was known?

How do you weigh trust in the system vs. your own maternal instinct?
