My daughter-in-law is 18 weeks pregnant (first pregnancy and keen to do “everything right “ i.e. by the book!) Here in UK they push you to have Whooping cough vaccine at 20 weeks.

As Covid vaccine injured myself, and aware of potential dangers of any vaccine , I am a very concerned Granny-to-be. Please can you give advice or thoughts asap on this – and other vaccines during pregnancy and in new borns. Thank you so much.

Pertussis can be treated fairly effectively with vitamins A and C.

For information about the Pertussis vaccine, see “Vaccines: Truth , Lies and Controversy” by Dr. Peter Gotzsche AND “Dissolving Illusions” by Dr. Suzanne Humphries. (Both authors are M. D.’s.)

Their books illustrate, with public health records from the U. S. and the UK, that NONE of the vaccines ever had much effect on mortality figures because municipal water purification and modern sewage disposal brought the disease rates down to near zero. The records do NOT show any improvement in mortality as a result of the distribution of either vaccine”.

I can only tell you this, my son’s friend was expecting her first baby due in March and she listened to the doctors telling her she needed this jab and that jab. She had that one and 2 days later her baby died and she had to deliver her knowing she was already passed. The whole family are completely devastated.

I had my first baby in 74 and my last in 81 I was never offered nor would I have took a jab during any of my pregnancies. All babies born healthy.

How many jabs were you offered when you were pregnant? I’ll go out on a limb and say none.

She is not seeing a doctor she is seeing a quack.

Ask her to ask her quack how many pregnant patients they are treating at this moment in time for whooping cough? I am in the UK at the moment and if there was an outbreak among pregnant women it would be all over the te-lie-vision.

Hi @francesca16 this is a tough situation, we faced this during COVID with our daughter-in-law, she has just had her third baby, I know she declined this vaccine and was never coerced to get it. Although we don’t have a specific webinar about vaccines during pregnancy , the recent webinar with Dr. Milhoan and Dr. Mumper is gold when it comes to advice about having an open discussion with your doctor, so it’s worth a listen, as the same rules apply to anyone getting a vaccine. . https://imahealth.org/childhood-vaccines-americas-fresh-look-at-recommendations/

The world Council for Health has a great piece on vaccines during pregaganacy https://www.worldcouncilforhealth.org/vaccines-and-pregnancy-what-every-expecting-mother-should-know/

Another great webinar, Dr. Brian Hooker and Dr. Geehr, author of “Unavoidably Unsafe,” discuss vaccines in pregnancy on the CHD TV podcast.

As Hooker says, pregnancy is sacred and it used to be that you didn’t take anything during pregnancy, yet it seems that it’s open season for vaccines.

EVERY medication, including vaccines are a risk to the developing fetus yet meds and vaccines are thrown around like there are no risks. Meds and vaccines should only be used in pregnancy if absolutely necessary and personalized to the mom’s individual factors – not a blanket practice for all pregnant women.
