Sleep Issues? 🌙

Research shows a large portion of people worldwide experience significant sleep difficulties.

National health surveys report that roughly 14.5% of adults have trouble falling asleep most days, and nearly 18% have trouble staying asleep regularly.

And sleep affects our health, mood, work performance, and overall quality of life.

This week, IMA President Dr. Joseph Varon is talking with Dr. Adylle Varon, IMA Senior Fellow in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, about how integrating Eastern and Western medicine , from conventional sleep medicine to acupuncture and traditional approaches, could deepen our understanding of sleep disorders and expand treatment options for patients and practitioners alike.

I’ve had trouble sleeping for many years and now learned to sleep much better through mind control via meditation, repeating relaxing mantras such as “peaceful healing” coinciding with the breaths and relaxation techniques. Though I still take some magnesium and low dose melatonin to help. I did not want to rely on any pharmaceuticals for sleeping. I was able to put worrying and troublesome thoughts out of mind so I can sleep better!

So glad you have had success, where did you learn your meditation techniques? Do you have any questions for the doctors?

Please include grounding in the discussion. It is the single most important thing my wife and I have discovered for improving our sleep. Sleep and circadian rhythm (which grounding regulates) are crucial, even to cancer… this article tells the story: https://intuition-physician.com/is-your-circadian-rhythm-the-key-to-preventing-cancer/

Question: What really is going on when you wake up at around 3am and have trouble getting back to sleep?
