Just wondering is it safe to take the urea (carbon 14) capsule to see if I still have the H Pylori bacteria? What is in the capsule, is it natural?

I just question everything now, sorry.

Hi @FMLAUS thanks for the question. We can’t offer direct individual medical advice, so lets see if someone in the forum answers.

I did a search on the IMA website bring up our Free GERD guides. H. pylori, a common bacterial infection, plays a significant role in digestive health issues like GERD. It can suppress stomach acid, inflame the stomach lining, and slow digestion, all of which worsen reflux symptoms. Functional medicine approaches, as highlighted in resources like our guide, it emphasizes uncovering such root causes rather than just managing symptoms.

But, we always suggest you try and get advice from a doctor or from an integrative healthcare provider in your area.
