Seeking Liability Insurance Options for Clinical Trial with Colloidal Silver

    Hi Everyone,

I’m part of a small, bootstrapped startup preparing a clinical trial for a dietary supplement product in the alternative medicine space.

We’re currently facing challenges in securing liability insurance for the trial due to the inclusion of a very small amount of colloidal silver in the product. To provide context, the amount of colloidal silver is 13 times below the EPA’s daily dose limit. Despite this, mainstream insurance companies seem entirely risk-averse to this area, and my insurance broker hasn’t had much luck finding options.

If anyone has experience with or can recommend insurance companies that might be open to working with us on this, I’d really appreciate your guidance.

Thank you in advance for any advice or suggestions!

You may have a greater margin of safety using Argentyn 23 vs colloidal silver.
