For many patients who say they’ve struggled to get answers for their Post-Acute COVID Vaccine Syndrome (PACVS), this new peer reviewed study from the IMA may help move the conversation toward a better understanding and clearer diagnosis.

The researchers highlight three areas that may help explain persistent symptoms:

    • Metabolic dysfunction – changes in how cells produce and use energy

    • Autoimmunity – the immune system mistakenly attacking the body’s own tissues

    • Vascular damage – issues affecting blood vessels and circulation

The goal of the paper is to offer a biological framework that could help doctors better recognize, study, and treat these symptoms.

You can read more about the study here:

I certainly hope that research like this will help open the door to more investigation and better support for patients reporting persistent symptoms?
