IVM worth a try for Autoimmune?

Letter I sent to Dr Malik. I suspect he’s quite swamped these days so pinging the network via this post.

Hello Dr Makis, I have been following you over the last 6mths and I’m greatly appreciative of your perspectives on repurposed drugs. I’m also Canadian and live in Toronto with my wife and twin 14yr old daughters.

One of my daughters has been diagnosed with Liver PSC which has progressed steadily over the last 2 yrs and we are now likely heading towards transplant. We have a wonderful team at Sick Kids but I can’t shake this feeling that we haven’t tried everything to fight this autoimmune condition. Nor can I feel comfortable that this wasn’t somehow related to the 3 vaccine treatments we all regrettably took prior to symptoms developed.

Would love to hear if you have encountered any cases similar to ours and if any repurposed treatments would be worth attempting? I recently took delivery of a large supply of Ivermectin for Cold and Virus season and I’m amazed by some of the testimonials. This of course is not a cancer but is an immune system that has gone very awry

I would be immensely grateful to get you or someone in your network to share any ideas!

Hello mg193, I have subscribed to the substack of Dr. Makis and have read about his use of IVM. I’m not familiar with Dr. Malik. Can you please provide a link for any of his work with IVM? Thanks so much.

Hi there, my background is in nutrition/food as medicine. While I don’t have an answer to your IVM question, the first thing that comes to mind (and is easier to acquire no matter where you live) is a medicinal mushrooms blend and an extra helping of reishi. These come in capsule or tincture (the latter being more expensive, but more potent). I like these brands: Real Mushrooms (5 Defenders is their combo product) or Naturealm’s powdered blend called Sacred 7. Both brands also sell reishi. If you have a bit more of a budget, Dragon Herbs has several excellent reishi tinctures, with the Duanwood being the most reasonably priced. DH also has a customer service line where you can call and speak to a master herbalist about the best products for your particular needs. Best of health to your daughter.

    🙏

This might be a new topic but I’ll try here. . . Has ANYONE worked with Dr. Makis, or does anyone KNOW OF anyone who has worked with Dr. Makis? I understand he seems to be very busy – I also sent him a letter and received a boiler plate response from his assistant. Certainly understandable. Asked a couple other questions and no direct answer. I hope and trust that the extraordinary results he is getting with IVM are actual, and before shelling out $800 for an email consultation I’d like to have some actual testamonials. Here is part of the response I received to my email

    To clarify the process,

Initial consultation is conducted by email and covers a three-month treatment plan. Once you have paid and signed the attached consent form, we will send you an intake form to fill out your medical records. Then, Dr Makis will do a full review of your case and provide you with a personalized protocol within seven days with recommended online sources to acquire the medications. He may prioritize your protocol depending on the urgency of your case. You will have email support throughout your treatment. Dr Makis and staff strive to accommodate everyone in need in light of high demand.

    Cancer – Initial Consultation $500 USD (or $700 CAD), Follow-up $300 USD

Dr. Been (Mobeen Syed) just published a Substack based on the data from the Yale study recently released. He outlines a number of treatments and protocols for vaccine recovery. You can read it here: https://mobeensyedmd.substack.com/p/protocol-for-vaccine-injury-management

Hello, my name is Joyce Anastasia (Ph.D. in Natural Medicine). I am a longtime counseling-oriented integrative leadership consultant and investigative researcher. First and foremost, thank you for your courage, strength, and resilience to ask while you are immersed in a very complex situation for your twin daughter (my Mom’s a twin, so I understand the incredible bond they share).

Multiple factors contribute to any diagnostic, and your efforts to exhaust the least harmful is admirable.

We are powerful beings! We can contribute to our personal healing from the inside out and integrate alternative and allopathic methodologies.

I am curious about what might be happening in your daughter’s life path that may have influenced her immunity.

Please consider a bird’s eye view that may reach beyond the normal conditions in our lives.

I wish you great healing, peace, and deep care for your entire family.

    Warm Regards,

    (Doc) Joyce

Dr John Campbell did a very good interview with William Makis MD. It’s mostly about cancer but I think he also mentioned that he’s using Ivermectin for autoimmune disease.

I would suggest trying to work with a Functional Medicine Practitioner. You can find one through this link: https://www.ifm.org/find-a-practitioner/

Vitamin D level is very important for autoimmune issues among other nutrients.

A lot of people are having success with autoimmune diseases with a carnivore diet (See Dr Anthony Chaffee’s podcast: The Plant Free MD. Perhaps because it’s the ultimate elimination diet and also very nutrient dense. You can also look up the Autoimmune Paleo Diet.

Low Dose Naltrexone can also be beneficial for autoimmune issues.

My partner recently spent 6 weeks in the hospital for a mysterious autoimmune condition that left him paralyzed. He was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy , an autoimmune condition that attacks the nervous system. He was given IVIG that helped temporarily but a few weeks later, we was administered PLEX or Plasma Exchange. It completely reversed his autoimmune condition. He went from complete paralysis to walking again in a very short time. The PLEX treatment basically cleaned the blood of all impurities. Wouldn’t that be cool if it worked for your daughter’s autoimmune condition?

I have been treating long Covid and all of the associated diseases and disorders caused by since the beginning. I was one of the first to get Covid one week before we announced it here in the Seattle area. Three weeks later I had long Covid which lasted eight months. I was one of the first to use. Risperidone among other things to treat it. The relationship between long Covid and these diseases cannot be overwhelmed. I lump viral insult and vaccine insult together because they are all spike protein related. Clearly, vaccine injury appears or significant and the auto diseases. I believe it’s because there’s a ton more by protein involved. What I found is if you want to treat anything from cancer to pulmonary fibrosis, you have got to get rid of the spike protein. Or at least mitigate it. So I would definitely use the long Covid/spike protein protocol. I use the one on this site as it seems to be the best out there. It’s important to use the entire protocol. Because everyone is different, and some people respond better to certain things on the protocols than others. However, the majority of my patients have absolutely no side effects from the day of the supplements, repurpose, drugs, or procedures used with the protocol.I would go full force at that and then consider plasma exchange.. Not with blood products, but with substitutes. It’s the least invasive and it just might work. But even if she ends up having a transplant, you have to get rid of this spike protein. I am very interested in whether or not a plasma exchange can minimize the spite protein. I have not tried that And would be interested. Has anybody tried that to reduce spike protein in the blood?

I will say, the silver lining to the disease is caused by despite protein is that they appear to be easier to treat once the bike protein is reduced or eliminated. I’m not sure whether or not the spike, being the engine that pushes the disease forward, Overrides our immune response. Therefore, when we get rid of it, our immune system seems to work much more normally. Our body seems to repair more easily. I have found this in my turbo cancers. I have six women laugh everything from stage four ovarian cancer to Sarco carcinoma of the universe. And they are all doing very well once retreated despite protein, and then went onto the traditional and non-traditional treatments for cancer. Same thing with pulmonary fibrosis. I have actually ate women and two men with pulmonary fibrosis. All related to vaccine or viral injury. Once we treated the spike, their fibrosis actually has gotten better in every single case. It’s crazy that it’s true. At least in my practice. Good luck to you.
