Hello, I’m new on here not quite sure where is best to post this. Has anyone had experience with experiencing negative side effects from a 0.4 mg/kg dose of ivermectin? Is there advice or recommendations on how to manage?

I’ve read several sources that say there is no toxicities – even at high doses – with ivermectin. An occasional allergy on an individual basis. It is one of the safest and longest-used medications.

Sorry to hear of your concerns, dbellikoff. Can you better describe your symptoms that concern you as adverse effects from ivermectin?

I took the dose of ivermectin yesterday around 2:30 pm. Close to bedtime some of my sick symptoms seemed improved such as this dry cough I’ve had for weeks and the brain fog. However in the night I did not feel right. My vision seemed pixilated even when eyes closed. Rather than thoughts racing I couldn’t form normal thoughts it was as if my thoughts were pixilated too. Sorry hard to describe. My breathing seemed off. Vision seemed fuzzy. Extreme restlessness. During the day today those adverse effects seemed slightly improved but are still there a little. I was curious if these negative effects normally subside and hoping nothing is permanent .

It is possible that your symptoms are from an interaction with some other drug or supplement you may be taking. For example, ivermectin, according to cautions posted by FLCCC, interacts with quercetin. You might want to also avoid taking any other supplements, such as citrus bioflavonoids (which probably contain quercetin) or some multi-vitamins (some contain quercetin), and any meds you are taking; for example, maybe wait at least two hours after taking those before you take the ivermectin. And likewise, wait one or more hours after taking ivermectin before you take your meds or other supplements (for example, any herbal blends that often contain 1 or 2 dozen ingredients – and only God knows what interactions their combinations might cause).

    Good luck!

Your symptoms can also be from detox or die off of what is ailing your body. It is called “Herxheimer effect”. It is when I have had when I have taken Iver in the past I have felt a bit sicker for a time at the beginning of the protocol. . I had to back off for a few days then try a smaller dose of Iver. And then I was able to progress but at a slower rate.
