Ivermectin dosage for humans is one of the most searched and debated medical topics online — especially since new research continues to explore its potential beyond parasitic infections.

Traditionally, Ivermectin is prescribed for parasitic infections like strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis. The standard human dosage ranges between 0.15–0.2 mg per kg of body weight, usually given as a single or repeated dose, depending on the infection.

However, recent global studies and real case observations have looked at how different Ivermectin dosages for humans may influence inflammation, immunity, and even cancer cell behavior. Some ongoing research protocols mention higher controlled doses (0.2–0.4 mg/kg daily) under strict medical supervision — but these are not general recommendations.

    Key takeaway:

Dosage depends entirely on the condition being treated, the individual’s weight, and clinical monitoring. Self-medication without guidance can be unsafe.

What’s your opinion on how Ivermectin should be further researched or regulated for new therapeutic areas?

There are endless (!) promising statements about quality on that site, but nothing that offers credibility for those claims. Do you have some basis for supporting those? That’s the crucial question for all these made-in-India products. Unless some group takes an approach analogous to Moms Across America and does a chemical analysis of a random selection from each manufacturer, I can’t see how we can get past this concern.

(There are also pop-up notices at each product on how many have been sold in the last X hours and how many people currently have the product in their cart, which seems a bit over-wrought.)

Hi all, just to mention again, no products being sold or organisations put up in the discussions selling pharmaceuticals are neither reviewed nor promoted by IMA. As always please do your due diligence. Thank you.
