Ivermectin

on September 23, 2025 at 2:11 pm EDTHello everyone, I’ve been taking ivermectin 12mg based on body weight for three days. But I want to take 15mg for another five days. I’m wondering if this is a concern? Maybe even more days after that? Or should I take a break? I’m also taking CDL orally and as an enema. I’m taking everything for COVID-19. Brain fog, concentration, exhaustion. I would appreciate an answer.

Hi @renifun76 I’m not a doctor, nor medically trained so did a quick search and got the following:
CDL (chlorine dioxide solution) is primarily used for water disinfection and, in some limited cases, wound care but is not approved or recommended for oral ingestion or enemas due to significant health risks and lack of medical approval. Using CDL either orally or as an enema can lead to dangerous side effects and is warned against by health authorities.
Oral Use of CDL
-
In Germany and many other countries, oral intake of CDL is not legally permitted or approved for internal (oral) use in humans.
-
Health authorities have not confirmed the safety or effectiveness of taking CDL by mouth, and its ingestion is associated with nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea according to documented poisonings.
-
CDL is approved only for disinfection purposes, such as killing microorganisms in drinking water, not for direct consumption.
CDL as an Enema
-
There is no approved medical use or scientific support for using chlorine dioxide as an enema.
-
Introducing CDL into the colon poses a significant risk of irritation, chemical burns, or poisoning, with potential systemic toxicity.
-
Enemas themselves are medically used for constipation or direct delivery of medications (such as for ulcerative colitis), but the solutions used are strictly regulated and do not include chlorine dioxide for this reason.
Health Risks and Regulatory Stance
-
Chlorine dioxide is a strong oxidizer and exposure (especially at high or uncontrolled concentrations) can seriously irritate or damage tissue.
-
Reported cases indicate nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and even more serious complications can follow misuse.
-
Reputable health and regulatory agencies recommend avoiding ingestion or rectal administration of CDL.
In summary, CDL should not be taken orally or used as an enema; it is only safe and permitted for external disinfection as regulated by health authorities.

Whilst I’m aware of Chlorine Dioxide, and it’s possibilities, may I ask if this treatment is self-driven, or doctor driven?
-
Hello…thank you for your detailed answer and explanation. I have been taking CDL and the enemas for four months now. I already feel better than before without them. And I’m still alive. The internet and the pharmaceutical industry are obviously against it. Why is no one talking about the dangerous vaccination, i.e. biological weapon, that they foisted on me? I am a nurse and had built a house at the time and have children. Google Andreas Kalcker on his website. Not the manipulated pages. I have all his books here. But my question was about ivermectin. How long do you take it? I am my own doctor, I have to help myself. My medicine is CDL, lithium orotratus, zeolite, activated charcoal and a few other nutritional supplements, healthy eating, walks and family. I don’t trust doctors anymore. Please inform yourself properly beforehand and don’t trust anyone. I’ve learned that since then.

Dr. Kory has a history of Chlorine Dioxide: https://pierrekorymedicalmusings.com/p/the-history-of-howard-alliger-pioneer
The problem with Chlorine Dioxide that I’ve found is wanting to know more with regard to thyroid implications. Bromine (brominated vegetable oils) is known to be bad for health. Fluoride is known to be bad for health. Chlorine is known to be bad for health. Iodine is known to be good for health. These other elements can replace iodine and disrupt thyroid regulation.
I don’t doubt the anecdotal evidence and stories. What I doubt is long term use and dosage.

The History Of Howard Alliger - Pioneer Of Chlorine Dioxide Therapies
In the 1970's, Howard Alliger, a scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur recognized the therapeutic potential of chlorine dioxide to treat human skin, nasal, and oral diseases (among many other uses).
-
I should put in bold what Dr. Kory himself says in the opening statement:
“Although I am going ever deeper into the “rabbit hole” of chlorine dioxide, I again want to emphasize that I am not writing as a doctor recommending a treatment. I consider this work to be in the vein of an amateur investigative science journalist trying to compile all the evidence necessary to guide and promote the research needed to establish chlorine dioxide as a viable therapy for all. Subscribe now to not miss critical upcoming posts on this topic.”
-
I can only recommend Dr. Andreas Kalcker’s books. Or go to his website. You’ll definitely find what you’re looking for there. I bought his latest book a few years ago. I’m in regular contact with him. You can also read the comments from South America on YouTube. Thousands of positive ones, and maybe there’s something about the thyroid there too. But I think CD is by far the safest thing there is…

Hello, I am not a doctor, but was prescribed ivermectin if I should get covid for a weight of 250 pounds. My dose for 5 days was 35 mg a day and if symptoms continued I could take 2 more 35mg doses for 2 more days. My husband, with a weight of 165 pounds, was prescribed 30 mg for 5 days and could take 2 more days worth if symptoms persisted. I am giving you examples of dosing. For your weight you can use IMA protocols. I am currently taking 20 mg of ivermectin preventatively for 2 days in a week. I try to do this every week for vaccine injury as well as prevention. So I do take a break between my 20 mg doses.. I am under a doctors care for this as well. I hope this gives you an idea of dosing safety. I would advise you to seek a doctor who could prescribe for you. IMA has doctors listed and you could find someone to help you via telehealth. Blessings.

Hello, thank you for your very good and understandable answer. I weigh 72 kg, compared to 93 kg three years ago. I’m familiar with the protocols here. I’ve also browsed the comments from YouTube users. Ivermectin is still new to me. My family doctor wrote to me about it after I asked. He himself has absolutely no idea. He trusts me with what I need. I even ordered 6mg of Ivermectin from the US. It will arrive in Germany in two or three weeks. One more question: did the Ivermectin help? My symptoms are already better overall, but unfortunately, I still need a few more doses. Brain fog and exhaustion, mainly. Thanks again for your answer! 👍

-
Hello again. Yes the ivermectin definitely helped my husband when he got covid. I checked and you weigh 158.73 pounds.,almost my husbands weight. He only needed 5 days of the 30 mg and got better. No brain fog and he was actually able to exercise. by the way he takes 20 mg preventatively also twice a week. I vermectin saved my sisters life, so I am a very strong believer and advocate. If you only took 12 mg a day, I would surmise you need to up the dose and take 7 days since you still have symptoms.. God bless you to get well.
-
Thank you again for your reply..🙏 I’ll try to get more tomorrow. I hope I can make progress. God bless you, your husband, and your family..🙏🙏🙏
-
-
God bless you and your family as well. Thank you for prayers.
-
Hello again, were there any side effects to the ivermectin? Could it be that the body is healing itself initially, or could the spike proteins that are eliminated be causing symptoms? Just a thought. Best regards 🙏

I’m also a patient and not a medical professional. Have you tried low dose nicotine patches?
The reason I ask is because one of the many positive effects of ivermectin is supporting acetylcholine. Nicotine acts directly on acetylcholine. If you find ivermectin makes you feel better, then an interesting test to see if it is the support of the acetylcholine pathway is low dose nicotine patches.
I was apprehensive to try nicotine due to its reputation for being addictive but was pleasantly surprised that it had absolutely zero addictive properties as a patch. I’ve never smoked in my life or chewed tobacco. After a two-week course of ivermectin + low dose nicotine patches I was cured of POTS, my sense of smell, taste, as well as touch returned to normal, and I was generally happier – my brain started working normal again.
There is a growing community of people who have found great success with low dose nicotine patches. So, if you’ve not investigated this, you may be surprised.
-
Hello, thank you for your reply. I tried nicotine patches this summer. They had zero effect. I’m also a non-smoker. CDL is my hope, and Ivermectin is new now. Unfortunately, lithium orotrates didn’t really work either. Low-dose naltrexone didn’t work at all; it made everything worse. I have non-specific intestinal problems. No pain, bloating, cramps, or anything like that. Since the vaccination, I’ve had a histamine intolerance, but even then, the symptoms are rather non-specific. I’m doing colon hydrotherapy on the side, my third the day after tomorrow. I take CDL orally every day and have CDL enemas. I hope I can get rid of these strange symptoms. I never feel well between 12:30 and 15:30. Discomfort, inner restlessness. No matter what I do. But everything has been much, much worse. Talking and concentrating are often difficult. Usually better towards the evening. I’m still unable to work; I’m a nurse. I pray every day and ask for forgiveness
-
I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through. I’ve been working on my intestines as well and when my symptoms hit (almost always early morning) it’s both brain and gut, always at the same time.
I can’t say exactly what has gotten the gut closer to in normal function (except for when I have symptom flares) but I can list what I take that has things more regular on a daily basis:
1. First thing in the morning and before bed I take 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Also in the morning:
2. 24-strain probiotics
3. Calcium Magnesium Butyrate
4. Colostrum 40% IgG
5. Pomegranate peel powder
Overall, my next target is vagal tone. It makes sense given the combination of symptoms Brain/Immune/Gut that go together. I’ll report on if what I try works in that area as well.
-
While speaking of the gut, one I have not tried is Larazotide Acetate. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has tried it.
-
Thank you for your answers and tips. Unfortunately, with histamine intolerance, I can’t take everything you’ve listed. If I were to consume it, it would turn into restlessness, discomfort, and depression. That would be hell…all after the vaccinations. 😓 I hope the colon hydrotherapy, the CDL, and maybe the ivermectin will help me. 🙏🙏🙏

Hi, jrgerber, Have you considered using Medical QiGong to self-treat your gut? (Qi refers to vital energy; Gong refers to “cultivating” that Qi). Several of the QiGong exercises address the gut, for example, the one called “Lungs and large intestines” and another one called “Heart and small intestines.” These are standing exercises that are easy to learn and do. Another related exercise is called “Spleen and Stomach.” They are from a series of exercises called “The Basic 8” and “The Golden 8.” Additionally, every 15 days (approximately), a different exercise (some standing, some sitting) can be done that acclimates your body to each portion of the upcoming season, strengthening your immune system.
To learn more about these exercises, and about Medical QiGong, you may go to: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87238331368? . And you may also go to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC301jxbuA0f2weTwspoYadg for links to previous sessions. The first-listed link refers to the zoom link for weekly classes conducted by a 39th generation healer, a licensed acupuncturist in California. Each class starts at noon, eastern time on Sundays.
Medical QiGong may contribute more balance to all your other ongoing methods. Best wishes!

Regarding the vagal nerve, I looked it up: “The vagus nerve affects several organs, including the heart, lungs, liver, spleen, and digestive tract, as it runs from the brain to the abdomen. It also influences various functions such as heart rate, digestion, and immune responses through its extensive network of nerve fibers.” You mentioned you wanted to support the vagal nerve.
Maybe you would be interested in the following information I put together for my personal needs:
A method of acupressure (self-treatment) for improving vagal tone:
· Measure a distance just below the crease of your left wrist the distance across 2 and a half of your finger widths (ring finger through index finger), about 2 inches down. The way I measure it is by placing those 3 fingers on my wrist.
· Next place the thumb or index finger of your free hand just above the index finger already in place (that’s about 2 and half finger widths down from wrist crease).
o Your finger or thumb should be placed between the two tendons on your wrist.
o The instructions never specify which wrist is to be treated; perhaps it does not matter; maybe both sides could be treated, since most internal organs, including the heart, have a left and a right side.
· Press firmly (holding steady pressure) for 30 to 60 seconds.
· Repeat 1 to 3 times daily for maintenance and when symptoms are occurring.
· The above procedure was obtained from this website: https://acupressureguide.com/pressure-point/p-6-inner-gate/
I did extensive searches about this acupressure point, and found another simple set of instructions, (Top 5 Acupressure Points for Anxiety Relief (From an Anxiety Sufferer).
Here it is: At this same spot, apply pressure for 30 seconds in a pulsating up and down motion. Release. Repeat for a total of 5 minutes. I would use this as an alternative method (or the one above) if I had symptoms of AFIB. However, usually, for daily maintenance, I do both wrists, and only for 15 seconds each (sitting on the side of my bed), just before I lie down to sleep for the night – this method (along with avoiding excessive caffeine and taking care to stay hydrated, and being sure to include supplementary magnesium at meal times)
***
Some background about this important, greatly researched point:
Its stimulation may:
· Modulate vagal tone, reducing the heart rate.
o See the following still relevant 1997 article, titled, “Heart Rate Variability in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Is Related to Vagal Tone”:
§ https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/full/10.1161/01.cir.96.4.1209 or
§ https://doi.org/10.1161/01.CIR.96.4.1209 The article’s authors are listed here: Maarten P. van den Berg, Jaap Haaksma, Jan Brouwer, Robert G. Tieleman, G. Mulder, and Harry J. G. M. Crijns; correspondence to Dr M.P. van den Berg, The Thorax Center, Department of Cardiology, University Hospital Groningen, PO Box 30.001, 9700 RB, Groningen, Netherlands. · Improve autonomic balance.
· Reduce nausea.
· Influence brainstem areas involved in cardiovascular regulation and emotional processing.
· Enhances local circulatory flow.
· Enhances neuromuscular relaxation.
– Another result I fortuitously discovered: Stimulating this acupressure point stops hiccoughs in its tracks!

Thank you very much @marir and @jgerber for your thoughts and inputs, what a forum is all about.
Hi @reunifun76 – This search comes back with info about side effects of ivermectin – https://imahealth.org/search/?direqt_search_nonce=423747af23&_wp_http_referer=%2Fsearch%2F%3Fq%3Divermectin%2Bdosages&q=ivermectin+side+effects.
The info our AI comes back with is – ivermectin side effects
Ivermectin is generally well-tolerated, with most side effects being minor and temporary, such as dizziness, nausea, or mild skin reactions. Rarely, higher doses or interactions with other substances may cause more noticeable effects, like pixilated vision or restlessness, as shared in personal experiences. While severe adverse events are exceedingly rare, it’s always wise to monitor for unusual symptoms and consult a knowledgeable healthcare provider for guidance.

Hello, thank you too for the detailed and friendly answer and the advice. I got my second dose of 30mg ivermectin today. Three days before, it was 12mg. I’ll try/take the ivermectin until Sunday. Then I’ll take 20mg twice a week as a preventative or maintenance dose. Yes, I felt restless yesterday.

Hello again, I wanted to tell you a little more about my husband and I taking Ivermectin. We both take our preventative doses at night , with food. That prevents any nausea. I do find that I get sleepy the first night of the two days , but I really get rested. I am a nurse as well, retired, but still have my license. I have dedicated my time to helping others as best I can with health problems.I became vaccine injured with an auto immune disease polymyalgia rheumatica. for that I have been prescribed low dose naltrexone for inflammation and I take a small dose of methyl prednisalone 2-4 mg daily for leg pain and inflammation. I exercise by walking and stretching as well as light weights. The ivermectin works well for us. My sister had cancer, large B cell lymphoma. At the end of her chemotherapy rounds she got sick with covid. The chemo brought her white blood cells down to 0.7 while she had covid. With the help of my doctor and myself she was treated with ivermectin. She had very little defense against the covid. the Ivermectin saved her life. She did develop bacterial pneumonia, went to the hospital 2 days for antibiotics and oxygen and dexamethasone, but the ivermectin had already taken good effect. Three times they wanted her to take Remdesivir but I coached her to refuse. she came home on oxygen and continued ivermectin. now she takes it preventatively as well. Her cancer is in remission and she is doing well. We prayed alot also, especially Psalm 91. Keep praying and I believe God will direct you. I believe what Greg from IMA stated about side effects is very true. Side effects are minimal, if any. There are two precautions. You cannot take ivermectin with anti rejection drugs from a transplant surgery and if you are on coumadin you should be monitored under a doctors care. Take good care. Marcia

Hello again, just wanted to follow up on reactions with ivermectin. Ivermectin and quercetin should be taken hours apart. I usually take ivermectin at night and if I take quercetin, I would take it in the morning. Also Ivermectin should not be taken by transplant patients who take anti-rejection drugs like Tacrolimus or cyclosporine. There are drug to drug interactions, but not sure what. Also if you are on coumadin you need to be monitored by a physician closely for drug adverse effects. Prayers for your healing. Marcia

Hi,
I just wanted to give you my information about the Ivermectin.
I was spotting last September and I decided to take Ivermectin while I waited for diagnosis and possible treatment.
I initially took 28mg daily for prevention in case of cancer…and I weighed 200 pounds.
I was diagnosed with uterine serous cancer with p53 genetic mutation in January 2025, and I contacted Dr. Makis in Canada.
I started taking 150mg Ivermectin daily and 1332mg Fenbendazole 6 days on and 1 day off…along with 50ml CBD Oil tincture before bed.
I added 10000mg D3 + 200mcg K2, 500mg Green Tea Extract twice daily, Tumeric/Curcumin 500mg twice daily and Berberine with the fatty meals to help the Ivermectin and Fenbendazole work better.
I take the antioxidants early in the morning and wait at least 2 hours to eat a fatty meal. I try to eat the 2nd fatty meal within 5 hours and wait 2 hours for the 2nd dose of the ECGC and Tumeric/Curcumin.
I now take 38mg Ivermectin and 444mg Fenbendazole after a clear CT Scan in early August.
Best wishes to all.

I’ve been taking 48mg/day for several months as part of a cancer protocol, and have suffered no adverse effects. Everything I’ve read suggests that it is one of the safest drugs you can take. During COVID I took 12mg/day. For advice on chlorine dioxide I recommend Jim Humble’s book The Master Mineral Solution for the Third Millennium. Another great resource is Curios Outlier’s Substack; he consolidates a great deal of other’s writings on the subject.
