Hi Grant – here’s the AI answer.

“💊 Can I Take Hydroxychloroquine on an Empty Stomach?
    Short answer: Not recommended!

    🍽️ ✔️ Best Practice:
Take hydroxychloroquine with food or a full glass of milk.
This helps cushion your stomach and reduces the chance of: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach cramps

💥 Avoid taking it on an empty stomach — It’s a known stomach irritant and can lead to unpleasant side effects.

    🕒 Timing Tips:
If mornings make you queasy, try taking it after dinner or with a hearty meal.

    ⚠️ Bonus Tip for Antacids:
Taking antacids like Tums or Rolaids? ⏳ Wait at least 4 hours before or after your hydroxychloroquine to avoid absorption issues.

    💡 Pro tip:
Always follow your doctor’s instructions “

I’ve always taking it on a full stomach but the other day I saw an article saying it should be taken on an empty stomach.

    Thanks.
