I’m on Dr. Bridle’s substack list, so I got this stack in the mail – https://viralimmunologist.substack.com/p/my-wifes-health-crisis-fundraiser. The story just went from worse to even worse.

Our Exec Director, Kelly Bumann dropped this into our internal Editorial Team workgroup today – https://www.courageoustruth.davidspeicher.com/p/home-for-christmas-a-moving-update

Not only are our Senior Fellows fighting publicly for our health, they’re often also fighting personally against (I was going to write insurmountable odds, but somehow this is different), so I find words a little bereft of relatable meaning in the face of this.

When you see a picture of a beautiful lady playing the guitar, and then knowing, not only is that not going to happen anymore, but the hill ahead to climb, is (now even using ‘climbing’ seems inappropriate or insensitive).

    What words to use?

Maybe Courageous Truth says it best in this way –  Dr Byram and Jocelyn Bridle have sacrificed so much to protect and care for others…now it’s our turn to show them our support.

It sounds like you’re trying to capture something that feels almost beyond words — the mix of admiration, grief, and gratitude when people you respect are facing such personal battles while continuing to give so much to others. https://melonplayground.io

This is truly heartbreaking to read. When people who spend their lives standing up for others are suddenly facing such overwhelming personal challenges, it puts everything into perspective. Slide along walls to gain an advantage, but impediments will halt your run. Space Waves is easy but addictive, keeping you playing to master each wave. Are you able to overcome the challenges and win? https://space-waves.co
