You could try Microneedling… I do this in my practice and I am focusing on hair restoration as I’ve seen this a lot. Consult with a local Acupuncturist. We use herbs, topicals, supplements etc. to support this. Or a Naturopathic doctor.

I will tell my alopecia story. I had it start about 12 years ago, I am now 71.

I have low thryoid, for 20 years, though stable always thus far. I take a 81 mg aspirin for 399 calcium score, 500 mg Metformin for 6.7 A1C (average) diabetes, no other meds. I have always walked some 7,000 steps daily, and started 20 stair climbs daily since January 2024.

I started Total Health vitamin packet for seniors with Meleleuca (pharmacy grade vitamins, independent lab tested in Germany) in early 2020 as Covid started. I started ivermectin .2 mg dosage twice weekly about winter 2020/early 2021 & had alopecia all along that time about the same, all along rear and sides of head. In May 2023 I had Covid bad case, w/pneumonia, and I was brought back (healed) quickly with ivermectin. I had not taken ivermectin the month before, first time doing that since I stated ivermectin. (Not wise, in retrospect). In about 2 months the hair fell off my legs and back of head, within a few weeks badly. Long covid. (Also other issues for few months – brain fog, low energy, etc. doing well now).

I started Berberine in mid 2023 as Metformin gave me mid night tummy ache, and Metformin is known to thrash muscles. So 1 berberine a day and 1 Metformin a day. I started early 2024 with 100% Berberine for diabetes, stopping Metformin altogether -per my endochronoligist. About 2 months ago my hair alopecia is mostly disappeared / healed (??) except for an area at edge half size of a dime- will it last- we will see if it lasts.

Also, the Berberine is wonderful as my muscle tone is rebuilding.

Lastly, I have in last 6 months had age spots on forearms greatly diminish, and rear of hands, and about 6 large 1/4” to 1/2” circle age spots on face are now gone except for 1- the largest one, and that is getting lighter. Also, on my chest the red mole like spots (like my dad had) are at least 50% gone.

I say all of that as there is some type of good chemistry the Berberine is doing on me. I also obtain the Berberine from Meleleuca, again, pharmacy grade (lot of not good Berberine on market, do not want that).

Thats my alopecia story. Also, my A1C dropped to 6.6.
