Is there any treatment for cataracts besides surgery to install an artificial lense?

    You could try:

A drop of castor oil in/around eye at night

Thanks for the question @jpoltz I am aware that red light therapy can aid retinal aging and macular degeneration, but not directly to cataracts.

So thought I would share a webinar and a guidfe that you can explore:

    Another body of research:

N-acetylcarnosine eye drops (more directly studied for cataracts)

A different line of research looks at N‑acetylcarnosine, an antioxidant form of carnosine used in eye drops.

    In one clinical study:

patients used 1% N-acetylcarnosine eye drops twice daily

after 6 months, many showed improvement in visual acuity and glare sensitivity

some lens opacity measurements also improved.

After two years, the treated group still showed better outcomes compared with controls, and no worsening of vision was observed in the treated eyes.

Researchers believe it may work by:

reducing protein oxidation in the lens

    preventing protein cross-linking

    improving lens transparency.

A few comments from a discussion in a homeopathic group I belong to.

“Has anyone had any success eliminating cataracts using homeopathy?”

    SOME ANSWERS

    1. “Read celery juice by Anthony William. He says cataract is chronic vitamin C deficiency. Some people have reversed it with juice therapy over 1 year to 18 months.

Homeopathy is great in conjunction with eye supplements too. Wild bilberries are good for cataract too.”

    2. “Dr. Ardis has a two part episode on cataracts where he talks about medical studies and supplements.

    Really great info.”

    3. “Hexane free castor oil 2 drops several times a day takes over a month to see progress but it works can add homeopathy too.” (lots of comments about castr oil)

Lots of people mention using Can-C eye drops with success
