Diet question

    My husband is dealing with kidney cancer. We have done an alternative program in Mexico (Immunity Therapy Center), advised with doctors at The Karlfeldt Center in Idaho, and worked with providers at Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle, and done most of Dr. Marik’s Aggressive Therapy protocol. We are struggling to find what works best but the current question is about diet–obviously eating clean but which kinds of foods (meat? dairy?), how many calories, fasting, etc. There are so many varying opinions. The scan last week showed progression of the disease. My husband would like to gain about 5 lbs back so has been eating a high-calorie diet since his body is burning them up. Could that be what set us back because he was feeding the disease? Please help.

    @overcoming Thank you for dropping your question into the forum. I’ve moved your post to the Public Forum. More eyes. More great responses. I’ve also passed your note on, to hopefully get some additional advice.

    @overcoming – From Dr Marik –

    “The very very very first intervention once the diagnosis of cancer has been made is a low glycemic diet.. cancer cells feed on cellulose. One must starve the tumor by restricting glucose.

    Avoid highly processed foods, avoid fruit and fruit juices, avoid sugar and stuff made with suger; eat lots of protein and fats (no omega-6 poly unsaturated fats- seed oils) . this is outlined clearly on the posts on my new substack.

    Hope this helps
