There is a search icon (spyglass) in the top bar, right next to the messages and notifications. Type Marik in there. Looking through those results you’ll find a section with Members and you can then click on his to connect with him.

I’m not sure I’m doing this correctly but here goes. I would like to form a group for members who are suffering with Long-COVID. How does one do this?

We plan to add a button to help lead you to the discussions, but it is a difficult thing as they are separate items. If we instead enabled Feed posting, which is how FB groups works, then nobody would create discussions, which are better for long form content and easier to share.

I find it all very confusing. I am an old dog, but I can usually figure stuff out. I will press on as I find hope in the work of the FLCCC, but do wish I could navigate this like the dreaded FB!

When looking at groups, I find the default feed view confusing. It’s not obvious how to start a new topic (you have to switch to discussion) and have to click into the message to reply. I wonder if this is confusing people and reducing engagement

@eric-the-read – spoke to Nancer this evening to find out a little bit more about the sequence that produced the error. She was in the feed and it was when she clicked on ‘Join the Discussion’ that she got the 404 error. Happened multiple times.

I tried to reproduce, but worked fine for me.

YouTube link in Eric’s latest post on AI and medicine worked fine. Interesting information. Went to say as much in discussions but that link went to 404 error.

Hi Tom – at the moment we can adjust the time scale easily (look back X number of days for all groups) but once set the time scale isn’t dynamic in the fashion that you described. We could probably do something like that, but that would probably be a feature for communities 1.5 or 2.0.

I made some adjustments so that FLCCC Family should now be displayed (if appropriate) in the Hot Zone and also in Latest Activity.

When I click on my discussion post about “Title” this is what I get.

This is a known, and very frustrating, bug. It’s also broken on the My Groups tab of your profile. We will hopefully have it resolved in the upcoming weeks.

Group sort for the order they are displayed appears not to be working — always appear in alphabetical order.

Agree that giving people a central place to go to take action would be a great way to harness people’s desire to make a difference. For the average person, they don’t really know what to do to fight back. One of our content ideas is something like “Fight Back Fridays” where we outline positive news from the battlefront and pitch new ideas.

I think we can start with themed posts like this and gauge if there is enough user demand for a dedicated group.

Is there a way to indicate or make more obvious that the “Title” is mandatory? I thought I added a new discussion to a group but because I did not have a title, it was in draft.

Maybe add a group on “advocacy.” I like to find ways to take action and not just have conversations. I believe it’s an important topic, especially since this is presidential election year, people can learn from one another how to get involved at various local, state and federal levels to promote medical freedom, early treatment, etc.

Sidebar is cool. Do the time periods scale with the amount of posts? So if we have 30 posts in one day, will it automatically reduce the “in the last month” to “today”?

I agree. I really like the side bar, shows up nicely on my computer so I see it right away, easy to navigate and gives me other areas to go and look at easily.

On my cell phone the navigation landed on the bottom under my groups so I probably wouldn’t have scrolled all the way to the bottom to find it or notice it had I not been looking to try find it.
