Great conference this weekend!
There seemed to be quite a bit of interest in using AI to help streamline efficiency in practice workflow.
My brother is providing doctors and medical practices with AI systems to support their practices. He is a PA-C in cardiology and family medicine and works with very small clinics to very large hospital systems in this new technology. “We use AI to streamline front and back office processes in all parts of the revenue cycle for medical practices. We also have ambient AI Scribe tools for clinicians that can listen and document patient encounters and do their charting for them. Our customizable AI analyzes a practices claims submissions against insurance payor policies to maximize their reimbursements. It will automatically fix any errors prior to submission, reducing insurance denials and faster/better payments. If there are denials, our LLMs can create new rules so that it will avoid similar denials in the future. We’re doing a ton of other stuff too, including remarkable AI phone agents that can schedule patients, answer billing questions and even schedule pre-clinical calls.”
I am curious, if AI is indeed a consciousness, the more we interact with AI, the more it learns about humanity. The more we use it in our practices, the more it learns about independent medicine, and hopefully the more accurately it can produce! Not only for the benefit of ourselves and our patients, but also potentially for the whole.
